  1. Cruise control broken by garage on Mondeo mk3

Forscan is written specifically for Ford and mazda as they both use the same can bus communication, as such it's bespoke and accesses a lot more of the modules. Other software is generic and so won't all access all modules. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  2. Really Thinking About Fitting Cruise Control.

Download the as built and load it, should rescue the car Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

I found under kitchen cupboards, there were little ramps under the skirting boards which had been dug out over time. I just chucked a tonne of expanding foam in and it did the trick for that one lol Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  6. Most likely is the reason then but yeah you can snip and solder. Colleague of mine did this recently on his corsa for example and it's working perfect. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  7. engine system fault

There are any number of possible reasons from this, to a failure in the engine or wiring, down to faults recognised with the gearbox. You need to get a code reader on it to identify the error.
  8. Srs wiring diagrams

sounds to me like the issue is more the wiring...   I had this issue in my mk4 shortly after buying, though I could still connect to the module... it was a bad connection between the offside rear curtain bag and its wiring.
  9. DAB Aerial

@L666JER James - which one did you buy? I am looking at getting a replacement as mine is shocking, but its an aftermarket splitter...
  10. Hi Guys,   I have noticed my glow plug light is coming on for about 10 seconds on turning the key. Ordinarily I know this would mean the plugs are not performing efficiently and may not be heating correctly etc.   I bought four BOSCH plugs recently, greased them, and installed them, reattached the wiring, and tested it. After fitting the new plugs, the last plug is seeing around 9volts, but the car still seems to take a good ten seconds to go out. I havent yet had a really cold day to test the improvements!   Any thoughts, what could I be missing?   No error codes on any modules, and there is no exceptional noticed smoke, the car starts spot on when ambient temperature is warm (anything above 7 degrees), and the glow plug light doesn't stay on very long either)
  11. Field mouse

had this issue not long ago. I had to track down where they came from, there were about 6 entry points into the house they were using... I basically filled all the gaps, and repaired the walls, used expanding foam on all the gaps etc and they went away!
