  1. Yup. I understand what they are saying to a degree, hell to some 60 quid is a days lunch, but to some that's vital. I don't agree with it, I don't like it, but the war on motorists is never going to end... I have learned to stop deluding myself and just hope I didn't get clocked this morning... I may have touched 62, 63 at a push in the 60 zone of our stupid motorway (I don't call them smart, I've seen more intelligent pond life) and that's the specially idiotic people in my local towns and places.... 50 percent a weekly wage for a slip up is too much for an accident, like this morning I had the sun in my eyes, burning my retinas, saw the sign but couldn't focus on that, getting my speed right, not allowing the car beside me to plow into me or not having the car behind me ram me. Something had to give! I suppose though, we still have the SAC, which is less than the old ticket for a first offence or first in three years! Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  2.  Hi wondering if anyone could give me some advice sometimes when I'm driving down the road the instrument lights all come on at once like you were doing an instrument check  then sometimes it says reduced acceleration or engine malfunction comes up

  3. Egr can be bypassed and is fine for the mot at the moment anyway... As for the sport cat, again should be fine as long as it would not impede on the cars intended euro emission standards Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah been using mine for a couple years now, moved onto giff gaff as lyca annoyed me Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  5. Most of the mot can be laughable... It serves a purpose but some of it is too much... Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  6. Not sure on that I must admit, but I have a friend who is friends with a tester I might ask him next time I catch up with him Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  7. All bulbs are tested Jamie, however if one bulb goes out it's probably not going to be a big problem, probably an advisory... Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  8. Nicer still! Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  9. Notice of intended prosecution, its the police document which arrives within 14 detailing the punishment they intend to offer for the offence. For example, 3 points and 100 fine, and requesting confirmation of the drivers details. I'm on day 1 of waiting just in case as I can't say for definite as I drove past a police car probably over the limit, but they were sat still and didn't come after me, but they might just do the ticket lol Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  10. I can understand your view is tainted and sadly with experience like those it's easy to see why. I would write to the police and let it go to court, it may be expensive to a degree but you might find the case disappears...? Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  11. Police can capture speed in a number of ways, one of which is using their calibrated speed recorders. If they film you at a certain point and they travel at the same distance behind you at the same speed, the camera records your distance not changing and that can be enough evidence. Never fair for them to judge though, seems like you got one in a bad mood, perhaps the chap couldn't afford a car like yours on his salary and his jealousy came through. I've had a few involvements with the police, never had a bad word to day about them. Just disappointed for them they can't do more these days where they need to. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  12. Nice Phil! Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  13. That is true Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  14. Easy. I pull ahead with the torque and laugh that my car which is half the price of their BMW or audio, just took the lead! And I say I have only spent x on unexpected repairs over 50k miles, but they spent that on tyres in a year... Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah it normally secures to the aerial base and allows the chassis around the light unit to be the earth contact point. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
