  1. Hi thanks for the reply but I have just had confirmation from the seller that they will not fit - maybe something to do with the nuts being different from 2010 onwards. Thanks again.
  2. I am looking to replace my 16 inch s max zetec wheels with a secondhand 17 inch set on ebay from a 2012 s max titanium. Does anyone know if they will fit or if Ford have changed anything to do with the wheels from after 2006? Thanks.

  4. Hello, Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated on this one... Currently have a year 2000 ford focus 1.8 tddi with 79k on the clock. It was originally a non starter due to a fuel pump problem, but has had 3 reconditioned pumps fitted and coded and is finally driving. it is fine to drive normally, but when asked to accelerate hard above 3000rpm, it cuts out all together and gives a flashing glowplug light at the same time. it has been on a number of engine diagnostic computers. the first said it was a faulty throttle pedal. thats been changed but it hasnt fixed the problem. Any ideas?? Thanks
  5. ive been told that the fuel injectors on the tdci are prone to failing and cost £250 each as opposed to £50 each for the td... There doesnt seem to be any difference between them when it comes to performance and economy either.
  6. I am currently looking at buying a mondeo diesel and have two in mind at the moment. The first is a 2001 2.0 td ghia x with 150,000 on the clock in good condition, with recently replaced clutch. the other is a 2003 2.0 tdci 115bhp zetec with 60,000 on the clock. Both of them drive really nicely, and are almost the same price. Ive read in places that the 2.0 td is less refined, but generally tougher and cheaper to fix, with the 2.0 tdci being quieter but a bit of a headache when things go wrong... can anyone give me any tips or benefits of experience please...? ta.
