  1. Thanks very much for the quick response. It is a 2003 model. I'm a bit confused! It has not got any buttons on it for remote central locking. At the end of the day I'm not bothered about remote central locking, just a spare key. Any further advice much appreciated. Thanks Gaz
  2. Hi, I have only got 1 key. It has a blue bit, with 1 on it under a W. There are no buttons on it for remote central locking or to contol an alarm. I would like to get a spare just the same as the one I have got. Will it be expensive? I know it has to be coded or something for the imobiliser. Thanks very much. Gaz
  3. Hi, I can't remember the name of the part the garage told me it might be worth changing when I popped in on the way home from work. I think it was a something belt although I can't be certain! It's deff not the cam or fan belt. It was silver in colour and for want of a better description it looked like it had started to fray. It's starting to really bug me now! Thanks
  4. Mpg

Hi, In my 2003 1.4 petrol fusion what MGP should I got on short journeys with quite a lot of stops for traffic lights / queing traffic? Thanks
  5. Hi, Thanks for the replies on my original posts re revs / screech & petrol guage. Took it to a garage they took it for a run & first impressions was that it could be the clutch release bearing as mentioned, but when put on ramp & looked they thought maybe it wasn't as couldn't get it to make noise. Only had the car a couple of weeks, started making noise after a week or so, doesn't do it all the time. If it is the bearing will it get noticable worse quickly or could it go on for quite a while before causing a major prob? The garage I bought it from says they will go halves with me on a new clutch under the wear & tear conditions of the 3 mnth / 3000 miles warranty. Any more advice / ideas? Thanks very much.
  6. Hi, It is a fusion 2 2003 1.4 petrol. When I got the car the light was on so I put £25 in & put another £25 when the light came on next time. On the face of it I got 28.5 miles per gallon, but if there was still for example another gallon in it, my miles per gallon would potentialy be more. Thanks

  8. Hi, Recently got fusion 2 2003. Not had rev counter before, is 3000 ok for steady driving at 70 mph? Also, when speeding up, squeek / screech noise when releasing clutch. Doesnt happen when slowing down. Thanks
