  1. Ford have now said I need a new gear box, but they are going to double check it.
  2. The EXACT same thing happens to mine when I take off, just like you I have to give it extra acceleration cause it feels like its dropped.
  3. I have an automatic and once I was at a round about with the heat on max and pulled out to find I didn't have the power I needed, I was also in manual at the time. I have noticed slight power reductions when pulling off but just put it down to my style of driving
  4. I have a C-Max 1.6 TDCi Ghia 5d CVT Auto and im lucky if I get 28mpg.
  5. I know this is old, but what where the symptoms of the Gear box needing changing, my car has been a bit sluggish and today i drove it for 2 minutes before getting a "Transmission malfunction" and turning back home. I've just tried to car again and now it wont even move, I've tried reverse, drive and nothing.
  6. Hi, I just drove my Ford C-Max 2004 for 2 minutes before I received a transmission error message on the display along with the orange engine symbol, I drove the car home and plugged in my ELM 327 and got the following error codes: P0701 = Transmission Control System Range/Performance P0730 = Incorrect Gear Ratio P138B = Glow plug control module system voltage P1632 = Smart Alternator Faults Sensor / Circuit P0620 = Generator Control Circuit Malfunction U0101 = Lost Communication with TCM Can anyone elaborate on these and if possible how to fix them? THANKS IN ADVANCE DIZZY
