  1. Thanks for replying. Up until now my mileage has been around 10,000 a year mostly in town, to and from work etc with the odd days out work permitting. Now I'm not restricted by work I have more time to visit all those places you never get around to seeing so I expect my mileage to go up. I have been looking at a 1.0 Ecoboost 125 petrol Focus Titanium in Deep Impact Blue but I wouldn't be opposed to a Diesel engine Focus. Graham
  2. Don't think I have the energy to fight my way out of a wet paper bag

  3. Bit late but I've been working ☹ Happy New year and best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year
  4. Happy Christmas everyone. I wish you all a peaceful Christmas and happy motoring in 2016.
  5. I won't be under the car very often at all so I didn't want to spend a fortune. I know they won't stand up to frequent or professional use but for getting under for an oil and filter change they will do me
  6. I needed a cheap pair if axle stands for the occasional oil change and brake pad change etc nothing professional. Halfords have an offer at the moment of a small Trolley jack, a pair of axle stands, a pair of wheel chocks, a wheel brace and a mechanics creeper. The normal price was £75 reduced to £50 and now £40 with my discount card it's a bargain at £34. Not sure how long they will last but worth a go.
  7. Car start first time. The battery is in very good condition. The only thing I've noticed is its runs a little bit roughly at first. Thanks for replying Graham
  8. Having a bad back is not good for car maintenance and detailing

  9. Nobody got any ideas?
  10. I had already swapped the standard ford unit for the Alpine double din 6.1 inch screen unit and due to having a bad back and neck the camera looked like a good idea to save me twisting so much.
  11. I fitted an Alpin HC-C115 reversing camera to my Alpine IVE-W530BT head unit and it great not the cheapest but it works great and was very easy to fit and I'm no genius.
  12. Has anyone tried chemical guys Jet seal? Graham
  13. Best thing I ever did was add a reversing camera into my Alpine sound system. Graham
  14. I've been messing about with an obd2 device and I was surprised to find that my 2005 MKII Focus only had one fault code stored. The code P0335 relates to the crankshaft position sensor over voltage or something similar. Do I need to replace the sensor or is there something else required? Thanks in advance for any help Graham. Graham
  15. For the dreaded MOT in March I did have to have the suspension arms replaced. I'll take it back to the garage and get them to check. Thanks for your reply Graham
