  1. Hiya I know of a number of diff cars having the same problem it is a faulty door lock and some times the only way to get the door open is to break the motor/lock itself the pug 406 use to have the same problem and the fiat stilo/188 punto, the cost is more labour than a door lock, and some times you can shock the lock by locking and unlocking but be aware you can over heat the motors and will stop working for a few seconds while they cool down, it would pay to try and give it ago yourself i work in a garage and the past week we have done a few door locks on diff cars with the same fault. it does take abit of time to free/break the lock free without too much damage. Good luck my friends <_< <_<
  2. Thats the way they are for some reasion my 05 plate zetech was the same this is standard on the zetech model only one touch down on drivers side. Sorry every thing else ok with the car? :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :P

  4. Nice 1, i hope you got it ok today and there was no problems? i wwll keep an eye out for it. I hope you enjoy it.
  5. P.s also check the antiroll bar drop links i know the older shape use to suffer from the same problem.
  6. Hiya I have hurd of a number of things that can cause the same problem you have, 1. is the track rod ends these seem to dry up and can cause i noise 2. is the lower arm ball joints i had mine replaced for the same reasion as your car had and that was when the car was 2 weeks old and had 68miles on the clock 3. i have hurd of many st's having top mount problems they dry up and can cause a creak noise worse when cold. If i was you just make sure all the bolts every where are tight then start greasing and lubing things up. dont use wd 40, its better to use a silicone spray as its better working in all temps, you may need to undo a few bolts to make sure the spray gets right into it. Good luck keep us informed Sorry not much help. :(
  7. WWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Nice colour the tonic is you have made a good choice there i miss my old tonic focus the ocean blue i have is nasty shows all the marks. Is it a ford direct car you have? you should get 3yr aa cover and warranty with that then my old man did when he get his!!! You will have to put some pics of it when you get it, Nice one for getting money off tho! :P
  8. You beat me to it!!! Yeah they are the same i think? just the titanium does not have cruse control? If you look around i think they keep there money abit longher and easier to sell on when you want to get rid of it, if people are like me very lazy i only look for cars that auto lights and wipers! Good luck <_< <_< :P :P :P
  9. You know what i had the same problem as you when i was looking i went for the Zetech and the day i drove it home i wish it had auto lights/washers and cruse and the small extras you get so a year later i px'd it for one that did. Any more questions? :P :P :o
  10. Thats it you can do it a month before its due ie if your mot was due 11th september 2008 you can get the mot done 12th of august 2008, Dont foget the pic's what coluour did you go for in the end? Glad you have sorted it now :P :o ;) :P :o
  11. Hiya No iv not hurd of many 06 (3yr) old cars failing there mot i work in a garage i dont know of any 3yr old car thats failed its mot, If you get in done a month before its 3yrs old you never know it mey still be coverd under warranty? The only things you got to look out for that it may fail on is tyres/lights/wipers/breaks service items if you keep the service up to date and that it should fly thru! I wish you the best of luck :P
  12. Hiya I would also go for the one i can afford aswell what does it matter if its a 05 or a 06 they are the same car, i would also look at millage aswell the one thats done less millage aswell, im looking at getting rid of my 57 focus and getting a older one, age of a car dont bother me you can always hide the year with a private plate? 15. Hello there im new to this aswell hello to every1. I work in a garage and i do remember doing a service on a 1.6 x reg focus it was a full service so i did the spark plugs after the service it missfired under load i replaced them with some others still did it, i then spoke t a good friend of mind who use to work at fords ahd he asked me did i put fords contact grease in the ht lead i said no, the garage he worked at did it on every service dont ask me what it does but i asked him for some i put the grease down the lead and you know what it cured the fault, also had the same fault on a 2.0l mondeo and the grease cured it. my be worth asking fords as this is the only place we go it from? i my be talking c%$p but for me that grease did work. Good luck i hope you get to the bottom of it my friend =:-)
