  1. hi, i had this problem not to long ago. had you been drivin the car quite hard before the problem? i've been told that the problem is caused by old brake fluid, as it also supplies the clutch. try renewing the fluids and bleeding it all through. i've havn't had chance to do it on mine yet but will be soon. i've now noticed that if i lift the clutch slowly it makes a whining noise think my clutch may be on its way out.
