  4. I have a 1800cc 16valve mk1 focus. I want more power and was wondering what sort of bigger injectors will fit my car.. Engine code EYDB can anyone help me please
  5. you can hear it at 1800rpm once the turbo kicks in and then it goes away at about 4200rpm
  6. The fuel filter is right in front of the tank at the back of car driver side. There is a small bracket that holds the filter in place with a 7 or 8mm bolt in the bracket, Take this bolt out and remove half of the bracket, There is a pipe connection on either side of the filter, remove these two connections then the filter. Before you remove the filter make sure and take note of what direction the arrow is pointing on the fuel filter as if the filter is put on the wrong way around the petrol will not get through the filter properly and therefore probably wont start to well.
  7. I have checked all the pipes from the turbo to the intercooler, I even checked the vaccum pipes. I couldnt find any cracked or broken pipes at all. I couldnt even find any leaks either. any other ideas.?

  10. When driving the car coming onto and off the turbo in each gear there is a very abnormal noise. the noise is identical to a sucking in of air noise. The noise only happens when driving the car. I have brought the car in checked the pipes coming of the turbo and going to intercooler and there is nothing wrong with any off these pipes. Could it possibly be the turbo is on its way out or has anyone ever came across this problem before. many thanks

  12. Has anyone ever done one of these water pumps before. What all do i need to take off to get the water pump off.? many thanks
  13. the rings at the top of the piston could also be worn causing it to have low or no compression on that cylinder
  14. as above my 2001 focus is using some oil. could anyone please help me.
  15. my car wont lock via the key fob. so i thought the battery was probably away i took the old battery out and done a voltage test with a multimeter which brought up 3.05 volts on old battery. done the same test on new battery this brought up 3.35 volts on new battery. 3 volt battery btw. were do i need to be going next to sort out this problem. any ideas.? thanks
