  1. Cambelt has now gone on the car - think it's terminal this time!!! £500+ to repair it!
  2. It's a 1242cc petrol engine. Does that help?
  3. My petrol S-reg Ford Fiesta's engine has just started to sound like a diesel taxi!!! Any ideas?
  4. Approximately 80,000 miles on the clock. It also starts to slip out of reverse when I am reversing uphill now as well. No sign of any leaks from the car underneath.
  5. My S reg Ford Fiests (1996) has a tendency for the gearstick to slip into neutral when I am in 2nd and 3rd gears (whilst slowing down). Does this suggest I need a new gearbox?
  6. I have an S reg Ford Fiesta (1996). When in 2nd and 3rd gears the gearstick has a tendency to drop into neutral whilst slowing down. Does this suggest I need a new gearbox?
  7. Hi. Whilst driving this morning I switched on the windscreen wiper on my S reg Ford Fiesta and the driver's wiper stopped in a vertical position on the return cycle (the passenger wiper returned as normal). When I next switched the wipers on the driver's wiper flipped off the widnscreen! Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
  8. Hi. Whilst driving this morning I used the windscreen wipers and the driver's wiper stopped in a vertical position on the return cycle (the passenger wiper returned as normal). When I next used the wiper the driver's wiper flipped off the windscreen (not much fun in the rain on the M6). Does any one have any ideas on how it can be fixed?
