  1. Well the fix lasted a whole 10 mins lol. I guess tomorrow I will be down scrappy and halfords for some joiners. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  2. Ive only had the car about 2 weeks, but I think im going to take it to a auto electrian and get them to change the connecter. And see if they can figure out why it melted. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  3. Have you had any of the pipes replaced on the engine? A mobile mechanic changed a pipe on my old fiesta that he said was blocked. Turns out the blockage was a vavle that was meant to be there. It caused the car to idle like a tractor and keep stalling. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  4. Temporarily fixed it, cleaned the terminals on the connecter and after reconnecting the battery the blowers work! Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  5. I think there is a cylinder? That works with the clutch. My brother replaced the clutch on a fiesta and then told me the cylinder went so it all had to come apart again. His was a mk4 fiesta if that helps Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  6. Was about 4 years ago but cost me £120 for 1 normal key and one remote key. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  7. With my old fiesta you needed a master key to program new keys. As I only had one key that wasn't a master I had to take it to ford for them to reprogram the car to new keys. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  8. Ok ta, hope the scrappy hasnt cleared the yard yet (he told me he planned it for early dec) or I'm going to have to find another solution. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app
  9. Can I go to the scrappy chop this connecter off another car and then do the same to the one on mine and swap them over? Its only just a little melted at the bottom near one of the pins, and its on the 'car' side of the connecter rather than the motor side of the connecter (if that makes sense)
  10. Removed the blower motor today, very easy except the connecter that joins the motor to the car was melted together at the bottom. Managed to get it apart and tested the motor which works fine. I need to replace the connecter, as I think its this at fault. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can buy a replacement connecter from?
  11. Hi, My fiesta failed its MOT on amongst other things a rear susupsenion bush/pin having excessive play, I understand this means the bush needs replacing. My question is, is it better to replace the bushes on both sides? im a bit concerned that just changing the side thats failed will cause the car to not be equally balanced? Thanks if you can help Lis
  12. Hi, I had a problem similar with my MK4 1.3i fiesta, a mobile mechanic came to look at something unrelated and caused the problem by helpfully changing one of the pipes that comes off the oil filler cap. He changed the pipe because he said it was blocked, not knowing that the pipe is supposed to have a restrictor in it. Caused the car to idle terribly and try and cut out, and it sounded like a tractor when driven. New pipe with restrictor solved the problem.
  13. Hi its a MK4 in silver, Just failed its MOT so its resting on the drive at the mo!
  14. Lovely pics of your car, we had a metalic blue one just like yours!
