  1. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Yokohama/Parada-Spec-2.htm This is a good site for tyre reviews too
  2. Which ones? Some better than others
  3. I would have thought it would come under warranty. Give it a go, nothing to lose
  4. The car is 11 yrs old so will be noisier than newer ones. My daughter has a 10 yr old Yaris which is noisy on first start up for a couple of seconds till the oil circulates, then its fine. Wear & tear. Does just sound like the clutch tho; and possible a wheel bearing on its way out, may just be dry and need some grease. Oh, welcome
  5. Good news, I hope it gives you lots of pleasure. Merry Christmas
  6. I have driven the TDCi when mine was in for service and wasn't that impressed. If anyone has a look on whatcar.com's video report on the fiesta, they go on about a punchy engine. The volvo puts out 236 ft/lb of torque, and even in 6th at 50 it pulls very well, think the 0-62 is 9 secs, but I'm a tad lazy too, so being able to put my foor down without dropping a few gears is great.
  7. After only having the Fiesta for a year, its going. I bought it as my wife loved it, but sadly it lacks any oomph, is quite thirsty, and the paintwork is !Removed! paper thin. Very disappointing after reading all the glowing reports about "a punchy engine" etc. !Removed!. So its going on Tuesday, and a Volvo C30 2.0D is taking its place. The only thing I liked was the comfortable seats & the way it handled, but the Volvo is just as comfy, and has a stonking engine
  8. All this emissions stuff is in my view a backward step. The news cars have less power, weight isn't that much more, and are slower. So to get a move on, we have to use more throttle/revs, which uses more fuel. Aren't modern cars supposed to be more fuel efficient? I used to have a 79 Scirocco which was quick, and always gave at least 40 mog. Something wrong somewhere me thinks.
  9. May just do that orcomma, cheers for that.
  10. Bad news Debbie. Looks like a new lock etc, so yep, an extra key.
  11. Had mine in for service the other day and as its drives the same as yours asked about software updates, was told there wasn't any for my car. Its a 1.25. Rather dissappointed with it. While waiting I had a test drive of an Ibiza 1.2 TSI, now that was quite quick.
  12. Enjoy the new car, I quite like them too.
  13. Cheers orcomma, I understand now thanks.
  14. Just had the car in for service today and was told the cylinder head core plugs are leaking. The receptionist has no idea what that means, niether do I, so its booked back in. They need the car for the day. Fortunately is not quite 3, so it will be done under warranty. The car has only done 18k miles, so I'm a little surprised at the fault. Anyone know what it is etc?
  15. Very nice mate
