  1. I figured as my original 2013 key doesn't work with the 2006 or 2008 models I tried it on. i already have the old flip key but it's full of scratches, just wanted to change the housing really. So there's no difference between the two models I asked about? Thanks
  2. Thanks for the reply. Is there a difference between keys with the following codes: 2TK-D2 and 2TK? Cheers!
  3. Hi, I have a 2006 ford focus st with an old style flip key and would like to upgrade to the new style flip key (like the new cars). I am looking at the following eBay auction Do you think it's legit? It's compatible with my car right? Can the key really be programmed as I have two keys already in possession? Cheers!
  4. Update: it seems I can only program my original flip key and not a secondary flip key (mk2) or the new lip key (mk3). When I hear the chime, I can only program the original key, pressing the secondary mk2 or new mk3 has no effect
  5. my manual states: turn key from 0 to II 4 times in 6 seconds to hear a chime...and sadly i get nothing :s Yes, I understand that the PATS has to be programmed professionally. Cheers
  6. Would you please let me know how to code it to my car? Thanks :)
  7. anyone please? Cheers
  8. Hi, is there a way how to use a key from a focus 2011+ on a focus st 08? new key: old key: Thanks in advance regards Anthony
  9. Hi everyone, recently had a runin with a sleeping policeman and damaged the bumper cover. Sadly it is very expensive locally and found it on ebay UK at Couple of questions if I may: 1) my focus never had a engine cover. Anyone can confirm that it fits well? 2) can I still use the focus without the covers (until they arrive in the post)? Cheers!
  10. i've had one that went bad (after 2 yrs though)! the cd/dvd drive and the usb port just died. Got parts, got it repaired and it still remained faulty. I replaced my sony st suqare headunit. Even though radio quality went down consideriably, the easy access with usb pendrives was brilliant. Now I bought a replacement one and I hope it remains fine. Just one piece of advice. Even though the auctions says that steering control work, msg the seller and confirm it. My second one doesn't support it and I'm still waiting for an updated canbus compatiblr ISO cable (40gbp extra) for it to work. Gluck
  11. thanks, apart from a 3cm drop, what do the eibach offer? thanks
  12. Since my country's road are so disastrous (clarkson labeled malta as having the worst roads ever), will different springs like eibach etc give ma a more comfortable ride? Cheers for any info
  13. I ordered this ring in white from a seller in china and left my dad to install it thi smorning while I was out. Looks brilliant when finished. We tapped into the footwell lighting and it works perfectly. The white ring goes brilliant with the red and white combo of the speedo and internal lights. Anyone wants the details of the seller, please PM me. His name is martin, resides in china and has brilliant english just in case you were weary of chinese people using translators. Plus the shipping speed is just brilliant.
  14. i'm trying to think of a way to incorporate DRL into the ST fog grill took a photo of the grill and mocked up the dimensions on it
  15. that will fit both mk2 and 2.5 as far as i can see. Removal of the old one is a pain, especially if its the 'standard' plastic one which might require cutting. Installation of the new aluminum one is simply by a sliding motion
