Hi I'm a new member, have owned my 2007 ford focus zetect for about 6 months now and everything has been running fine till a few months ago. I seem to always get a loud single clicking sound (only clicks once once you start the car, otherwise if u idle at the traffic lights and take off it doesn't make the sound) coming from my engine whenever im in first gear and reach about 2200 revs, just before i change into second. I also hear creaking sounds from the engine when pressing the clutch down or pressing on the brake. Can anyone give us a clue to what the problem could be.
