  1. Fiesta Mk7 / Mk8? Heaters Poor

I had issues about a year ago with the heat only blowing when the car was moving - the air would blow cooler when stationary. Took it in for a full service and it seemed to have been sorted!
  2. Lost Key

Luckily, I got a phone call and they were found at my girlfriends house, intertwined within the sofa! Always good to know what to do in that situation though. Thanks for your advice guys.
  3. Lost Key

Thanks for your reply. That's what I thought. I'm not sure if I'm covered, I'll need to phone up tomorrow to ask. EDIT: Just checked my policy documents and it seems they cover any loss or theft of keys and will pay up to a maximum of £100 towards the costs of getting locks changed. It's not much, but it's better than nothing!
  4. Lost Key

Hi Guys, I lost my main car key last night (using the spare just now). Not quite sure if it was outside or it's hiding inside the girlfriends house. Anyway, I was wondering what the best thing to do is? I have a spare, uncut, uncoded key but I'm not sure whether I should go the whole hog and get the ignition barrel, etc replaced? If it's outside and someone tried to use it with the codes changed, would they still be able to open the car? I'm not that clued up when it comes to lock-smithery! Any advice?
  5. Replacement Interior Light

Thanks for the replies guys. I completely forgot about this post and ended up buying a replacement light from FordPartsUK, haha. Cost me around £20, which is not too bad I don't think. Interesting seeing these ambient light upgrades though! Might invest in an upgrade after Christmas. ;)
  6. Replacement Interior Light

Hi all, Looking for a replacement interior light surround (pictured below) for my Mk7: The little catches on one edge on mine have snapped off when replacing the interior bulb and the plastic cover won't clip back on. So yeah.. need a replacement. Is my best bet a scrappy? I've tried eBay already and couldn't find anything. Any help would be much appreciated.
