  1. Happy Birthday stutick!

  2. Luckily I climbed out of the hole that used to be the windscreen injury free... considering back then i never wore a seat belt. The corbeau Bucket seats i had in the car seemed to save me being thrown around. But spookily, the guy i bought the bucket seats off rolled his car on exactly the same day the year before :o
  3. My First car was an off white old V-reg Escort 1.3 Estate Mk2... with silver windows :S Had a it a few months, then one night lost the back end on a bend in the wet, mounted a double kerb and rolled it 2.5 times Similar to this one
  4. Hi, I was a member previously and have returned having deflected to Renault for a few years... I am back, I have just bought a 2009 Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 TDCi in Vision Blue (with BT and USB) and pick it up tomorrow and cannot wait I am like a kid in a sweetshop right now and probably won't be able to sleep tonight lol :) STU
  5. Thanks gadget... is it as easy as unplug, unscrew, replace ?
  6. Hi, I am no machanic so please excuse my stupidity.... I want to replace the lambda sensor on my 2001 1.25 Fiesta.... but where is it lol? And is it easy to do? How much? and shud i buy it from ford or a car spares place? I suspect i know Where it is---> it looks like a spark plug and think it is to the back of the engine on top of the exhaust manifold area? Thanks

  8. 32 but only feel 23 (and some say look 23) :P
  9. I seem to have fixed my little problem, by changing the spark plugs and Air Filter. I think the air filter was all that was needed as it was very blocked, which would explain the choking up when cold. Seems to be running like a dream now :) :) :)
  10. Thanks i'll try that :)
  11. HI

Hi all, I'm Stu and drive a 2001 Ford Fiesta 1.25 Freesytle 5dr in silver. I am having a few problems with it of late and hope some of u can help me out with suggestions STU
  12. Hi this is my first post, and I have a problem with my 2001 Fiesta 1.25 freesytle. Basically, when the car is started from cold it runs rough coughs and splutters and judders (like if is mis-firing) when driving down the road especially when the revs are low. Dropping down a gear can eliminate this. I am also getting the age-old problem of stalling when coming to a stop. When I have used it for a while the problems are not there!!! I have read that if i replace the Ignition coil, HT Leads and Spark plugs this could resolve the problems, I am loathed to take it to Frauds due to the credit crunch lol Any suggestions?
