  4. i have a 56 reg smax titanium, it has a load of extras and im looking to know is there a link to a spec list for these cars when they were new so i can see what the original owner would have paid??? thanks folks

  6. hi mate, i had the exact same problem with our 56 plate smax on monday, draikned battery, hard to start, hooked up jump leads and it started, my mechanic was with ford for 28 years and knows his stuff, i was dreading it being the dmf but thankfully it wasnt, turned out to be the starter, the armature was completely burned out and new brushes required, he got it refurbed, all this and only £80 inc labour... car is perfect now!
  7. hi all im new to this site.. ive had focus rs, mondeo st tdci, s-maxs etc etc i currently have bought an 07 black s-max 2.0 tdci titanium with the peugeot engine fitted, between 1500-2000 rpm when feathering the throtle or easing off the car developes a slight misfire/hesitation, i think this is a common problem, my mechanic is ex ford and says its to do with the 2 stage turbo or possible map??? this has probably been covered before but id like to put my mind at ease... the car drives perfect and performs faultless apart from this.. paul
