  1. Mk 7 1.6 Tdci (95Bhp) Mpg Issues, Anyone Else?

hi-to all ,Have been reading all or most of the posts regarding the lack of mpg from the tdci fiesta ,some say its the new engine you have- others -you drive to hard-take this drive test. But we all bought this car A-£20 road tax B-because we were led to believe it would do 67mpg as well.I myself with 40yrs plus driving did How wrong can we be,ive had all sorts of cars and makes and must admit what the specs said the mpg was i mostly got so i assumed the fiesta would be no different-how wrong can one be -Now for my stats ford fiesta 1.6tdci 2010 90bph- all conditions-52-53 mpg driving with least throttle as possible and gear change in 5 by 30mph.My ability to drve is not in question or how i drive for there is to many of us with the same issue.the prob is what can we do about it -does anybody have the answer -can we ford fiesta owners be helped-we all seem to hit a brick wall,i went to ford with this issue and was told nothing wrong -can i have my car remapped -no only if you have a fault and then you would have to pay.So even the warranty does not cover it -possibly not.have we hit a dead end.
