  1. Fusion 2 Hellp

thanks Leo, if you do change your pump and it fixes the problem, let me know and i will chase my garage
  2. Fusion 2 Hellp

i too have a problem with my 2008 ford fusion steering, like yours it is fine when driving but not good when doing manoeuvres, also slight straining noise on full lock. took back to the guys i got it from and they said its because its an assisted manual power steering set up which relies on the engine rather than an electric pump set up which does not, this makes sense as when revs are high steering is easy. I would be interested if changing your fluid helps as this would mean they where spinning me a line and it is a fault
  3. 2008 1.4 Fusion Steering Issues

my fusion steering has started making a straining noise when warmed up, also gets harder to steer, especially when doing manoeuvres, anyone else had these problems?
  4. i everyone, i have just brought a 2008 1.4 fusion, great little car but the steering makes a struggling noise when doing manovers, 3 point turn, parking etc, ok at speed but at low revs it is quite stiff and not great, guy who sold the car said this normal? has anyone else experienced this? can you help?
