  1. I know this probably sounds like a really daft question, however, we have just had new cars in our house (my wife has a Seat Mii and I have a Ford Fiesta). Having always had fairly old cars, we've never been too fussy with regards to cleaning the car so have just used bucket and sponge, etc. However, now we have new cars, we want to take great care of them and make sure we don't end up scratching the cars so I would really like to get some advice about the best way to clean the car without ending up with millions of tiny scratches all over the car. The cars both have paint protection on so don't know if that makes any difference but are there any specific cloth/sponges we should use that are less likely to scratch the car? Any specific shampoo's? Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
  2. I've just ordered a Vision Blue...very nice colour
  3. Hi all. Really could do with some help... At the weekend, I went to get in my 53 reg automatic fiesta and it would start but as soon as it started, it would cut out again. If I kept my foot on the accelerator, it would keep running but as soon as my foot came off the accelerator, the car would cut out. I checked the oil and it was quite low so I went and bought some new oil and put that in so now the dipstick shows its 3/4 full. After putting the oil in, I kept my foot on the accelerator for about 10 minutes and after that, the car was fine....until this morning when it is doing the exact same thing. It's been about 2 years since the last service so 2 years since the oil and air filters were changed so I'm wondering, if the air and oil filters needed changing, would they cause this kind of issue? I've found the filters that I need on Halfords but are they easy to fit?
  4. Hi all, First post here and looking for a bit of advice. I currently have a MK6 Fiesta (2003) and one of the wheel trims has disappeared and two of the others are badly scraped so I'm looking to replace them and would ideally like to buy some genuine Ford trims. I've been on a ford parts website and have seen a trim that I like that's the same size as my cars wheels but the website says it fits New Shape Fiesta From: 21-07-2008> (it's under the MK7 section and I believe my Fiesta is a MK6). Is it likely that this trim will fit my car or do I need to buy specific ones? Thanks
