  1. Happy New Year! Lets start with some Focus ST action.... https://t.co/rts2BmjV7H

  2. Steeda Uk Focus St Estate Demo Car

Here you can see our "Stealth issue" windscreen strip which I love. Its only visible when you take a close look! As you can also see we wanted some dyno runs at an independent specialist to verify the CAIs effectiveness. Rememebr this was fitted with NO tune, to prove our "bolt on horsepower" claim. Here it is strapped up ready for baseline stock runs Perfect Touch, our dyno operators, run a Dastek dyno: Here is a before after comparison overlay as you can see the Steeda CAI keeps breathing when the stock intake runs out of air strangling the power up top... Stock peak highlighted... Steeda CAI peak highlighted. You can see how much more curve it has up top... The dyno operators were very impressed, and had done multiple runs both stock and with the CAI. Once the installs and dynos were done, off to a show! Up at Collins Performance for an ECO-Boost only open day... Stay tuned for our next steps (clue, might involve" tuned" !!)
  3. Steeda Uk Focus St Estate Demo Car

Initial impressions. A nice flexible "do everything car" sums up the Focus ST estate. Stock setup: Likes: Great seats, nice steering wheel, like the overall estate look and the stowage space. I personally really like the ST rear exhaust pipes too. No so like: Gear shift is far too long, looking forward to Steeda upgrade. In cabin noise can be very harsh on some road surfaces, not sure if a tyre swap will help. Car was wheel spinning everywhere on the airfield. Upgrades should help as will 'driver' upgrade as I have to get used to FWD wheel spin! MPG so far achieved 30mpg over 2000 miles or so. Also not a fan of the "fake" symposer soundtrack. I don't mind the sound, but the fakeness bugs me. Step one: Some decals featuring the Steeda Sidewinder: And to back things up, a little engine bay work. Out came the stock intake: While it was out, it was a great time to add some other essentials, mainly the Steeda short shift bracket....This is a MUST if you like driving. instantly curing the stock "rowing boat" feel, and all for under £100! It's a mod you will appreciate EVERY time you drive the car. STOCK bracket: Steeda bracket installed: Once the shift bracket was installed, in went the Steeda CAI for some instant bolt on horsepower, and a much nicer looking engine bay: We complimented this with a Steeda billet oil cap cover to dress the bay up a little too...
  4. Steeda UK can unveil our newly purchased ST1 Estate in Race Red, soon to feel the "Steeda difference" Here she is fresh on the dealer forecourt, with only a few miles on the clock. Stay tuned to watch her evolve.... You can keep an eye on things on our Facebook page or watch the progress of this and other Steeda cars (and perhaps even your own car!) on our smugmug gallery: http://steedauk.smugmug.com/ We are constantly developing new parts for the Focus ST so if you have any suggestions about what you would like to see let us know! We took her out for an airfield sprint to get a better feel for stock action, and after a few thousand miles of general road running and a nice workout in the hillls of Scotland, she was ready to experience "The Steeda Difference"
  5. You can see more about how products were developed, and are still being developed here: http://www.steeda.com/blog/2013/02/steeda-focus-product-development-the-racing-advantage/ And here regarding the Focus ST ECU tuning: http://www.steeda.com/blog/2013/04/steeda-leading-the-way-in-focus-st-tuning/ Our newly release Focus ST Shortshifter dramatically cuts down on the gear change distance and provides a nice positive feel. Steeda test thoroughly on street, drag strip and track, as these pics show: Here its on track rubber back on the OEM wheels:
  6. A Steeda windscreen decal and tone tone roof and bonnet added to the looks and matched the HRE wheels:
  7. Power wise, out back we had a custom exhaust, And up front the Steeda Cold Air Intake, now combined with a Steeda down pipe, and Steeda ECU calibration...
  8. The stance and handling (and looks!) were honed with Steeda Performance springs combined with the Steeda rear anti roll bar (which featured on a couple of other of the Focus STs at the show as well) and some lovely HRE wheels HREs are certainly not for the budget conscious, so look out for our signature series wheels soon on our UK cars... Here you can see the wheels with the signature Steeda 'Sidewinder' decal This next shot gives you another angle and a look at the uprated Brembo brakes on the car:
  9. Our US factory got their development car straight from Ford so we could get started on things before the Focus ST was launched in the US. We were scheduled to show the car on Ford's amazing stand at SEMA 2013, so off to work we got. Heres the car at SEMA: So what went into making it a Steeda Focus ST?
  10. Steeda Mk7 Fiesta Demo Car Build

Thanks Chris, yes its very chuckable, and makes a nice little growl too...
  11. Topher's Mk7 1.6 Ti-Vct Fez

    great choice with the Ultraleggeras!
  12. Steeda Mk7 Fiesta Demo Car Build

Final mod, the Steeda Adjustable Roll Bar Endlinks: Perfect for lowered cars, and even more so for track day lovers. Get your cars geometry perfected, and make sure lowering it doesn't spoil your set up. And all for less than £100 inc vat!
  13. Steeda Mk7 Fiesta Demo Car Build

Steeda are well known for their Mustangs too: Not flying ones though usually! TotallyMotor took the car for a test drive too, with some more pics: http://www.totallymotor.co.uk/new-car-news/2012/12/10/steeda-ford-fiesta-first-drive-review
  14. Steeda Mk7 Fiesta Demo Car Build

So far so good. Note that the Sparco Drift ET 25 fitment is pretty aggressive and you may have to do some arch work on the front, depending on your tyre choice, suspension and driving conditions etc We generally recommend the ET42 Sparco options (16" Drifts, or 16" / 17" Assetto Gara) The Assetto Gara is actually a shade lighter so better for performance, but I love the Drifts and the stanced look! We found that on the OEM Zetec S suspension in high speed compressions with 205/40/17 Yokohama Paradas we got a lot of tyre rub on the fronts. With the Steeda springs fitted it actually dealt with things much better, even though it was way lower, but still gets the odd clip.... time for a little tweak! Stance sorted, it was time for a trip to Totally Dynamic to fit the Steeda SSV graphics pack, which consists of the trademark Steeda Sidewinder decal and a windscreen decal....
