  1. thank you both for replying. Tdci-peter, I did go to site, it may have helped a bit. Thanks
  2. just bought a second hand abs pump and module as had it tested at ford and said I needed a module. Do I have to have it re set or what do I do when I put it on. Thinking of just changing the module . Its on a 2007 transit
  3. just bought a second hand abs pump and module. How do I re code it or what do I do when I put it on. Thanks
  4. first I took it to the transit centre and they couldn't get nothing up at all. They sent us to another garage that said it was left hand rear censor and diesel filter. Put new diesel filter on and had already put new censors on the rear. The garage checked everything from back axle to the front. Got to take it again next week. It cost £120 just for looking
  5. thanks. Will try checking them again. Garage had it all day yesterday so should have checked them as they say they checked from axle to front
  6. no cant go wrong. Different connectors..changed them as thought they might help get first light off. The brake pad wear light
  7. hi everyone, need your ideas. we have a 2007 transit. the brake pad warning light came on so we put new rear brake pads in, at the same time we put new sensors on the rear brakes (the wire) and both rear abs sensors. started the van up and we had the brake pad warning light still on but also the abs and esp warning lights too. took it to garage to be checked with machine and after a bit the brake pad warning light has gone off. the garage had it in all day and checked from back up to the engine with no luck. got it booked in next week for another go finding fault. any ideas as its costing a fortune in labour charges. checked all the fuses. what seems odd is the lights coming on when they didn't before we changed all the wires. we did try putting old wires back on but no difference. hope it something simple. any suggestions please
  8. sorry. its a ford transit 2007 2.4. 140bhp. its got 2 batteries
  9. hi all just changed my rear abs sensors and my brake discs warning sensor. all new , now the warning lights stay on . any ideas how to get them off. thanks
  10. supposed to be a new one. When it was put on and we had van back the turbo was leaking oil onto the cat (the big round thing) so the van had to go back and was told it was the new turbo leaking. Van came back and we drive it most days. At first we thought it was just the leaked oil burning off the engine but now the same burning of oil can I can still smell. As I said van runs as it should, no knocks rattles or anything just using oil with the smell of burning oil. No drips on the driveway either
  11. was a new one. We had to take van back when it was done as it was leaking oil from there. They fixed it as they said the turbo was faulty and under garentee. But since we had it back we can smell oil. At first I just thought it was the old oil burning off the engine but the smell is still there. I cant see no black smoke from exhaust but before turbo was done it was white smoke
  12. thanks for your reply. Looks bad then as just had new turbo put on
  13. hi, help again. our ford transit 2.4 140bhp is burning oil. I can smell it but cant see any. I keep topping it up. there are no engine noises, no rattles or nothing. no loss off power, very fast. someone said it could be little ends. anyone with ideas, thanks
  14. thanks. Will try the cheap option first. My husband will do it lol. I keep making cups of tea and he's happy. Not much luck with this van. New turbo, alternator and back axle so got to try the cheaper way First. Thanks for replying
  15. I was told it was egr valve as on tick over it sometimes has a bit of a jump but apart from that its ok
