  1. Hi, I have had a few focus with the immobiliser light flashing after starting and it is usely caused by the pcm getting corrupt. I usely reprogram the pcm and reset the key and this stops that. The main question is why the corruption happen, sounds like you may have some sort of power problem on your vehicle. A starting point would be to remove the fuse box and check it for water ingress. The fuse box is located under the glovebox and has 2 clips which hold it up. Disconnect the 2 plugs on the bottom by unhooking the latch mech on them, unclip the fuse box and it should swing down. disconnect the rest of the connectors and remove the box. there is a small square connector or the box and this is a usely one to get water ingress. Make shore there is no sign of any water or corrosion from old water. Let me no if u find anything and ill see if i can help u anymore. 8. Google them or ebay, I believe there are a few aftermarket kits around to do the job. I always recommend that the aux belt and tensioner are changed and also the crank pulley. From what i remember the root cause of this fault is the crank pulley exciting the aux belt and causing it to vibrate. hope this helps Please like me in this Facebook app so I can get online more and help u guy's http://apps.facebook.com/winwithlikes/?fbpid=23&refid=702122022 Please Pm me with direct questions if u really stuck and carnet get a answer from the forum, i don't always see questions in the forum because I can not get online much. regards Jason
  9. I'm not shore if the handbook tells you the conditions that have to be met for the start/stop to work but there are quite a few. Ambient air temp and engine temp have to be within range, battery charge and load and u even have to have a seat belt on for it to work. If u want to know if the system is working then just stall the car and if u put ur foot back on the clutch the vehicle will restart automatically. Hope this helps Please like me in this Facebook app so I can get online more and help u guy's http://apps.facebook.com/winwithlikes/?fbpid=23&refid=702122022 regards jason
  10. There is a filter in the pas reservoir which blocks and causes the whining noise. Most of the time u can just replace the bottle and flush the system to fix it, but if the pump has been starved of fluid it can cause it to fail.

  15. There is now an adapter available which mounts between the sensor and the dash which pro vents this noise from happening too.
