Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  3. Hi I have a 2006 1.6 tdci and in January my turbo failed. I had it replaced and it lasted for 800 miles then the new turbo failed. This has happen four times now. Each time I have taken it back to my local ford dealer. They have replaced it each time until now. They have told me that after talking to ford technical they will not replace it any more and they don't know what is wrong. The only option they gave me was to replace the engine at a cost of 6k The sump and all the oil line have been changed and flushed I have spoken to ford customer care and they said the only thing they can suggests is to replace the engine or have the current one stripped down but there is no guarantee if they will find out what's wrong, and due to the age of the car they will not contribute to any costs As any one else come across this
