Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Mk1 Exhaust!

Any ideas on where the best place to get an exhaust tip for a MK1 Focus would be? NOT wanting anything "cheesy i.e. big and in your face!" just one that looks just right on the car! :D
  2. Mk6 Alloy Sizes?

Seen 18's on there but nothing bigger than that!
  3. Summer Tyres Needed

The Pirelli tyres are going to be a good option in terms of a quiet ride. Only thing is, they are just not going to last as long as you may hope. If you want my opinion, Hankook or Continental are the only way to go!!
  4. Disable Ford Fiesta 2007 Folding Mirrors?

I used to have a MK6.5 Zetec S Fiesta and on the indicator stock, hold the button on the end for the menu. There was the option in there to disable the folding mirrors!?! Or surely an easy fix would be to take the fuse out for them???
  5. My old man has a 59 plate Focus ST with the same stereo in it. No problems playing music through your iPhone and as Finchy says, it kicks off the music to answer the call!
  6. Mk1 Focus Engine Problem!

think by the looks of things, on here and from other places i've seen, this is quite a common problem. Just bite the bullet and buy new next time, as you said, so many second hand units can equal the price of a new one!
  7. Mk1 Focus Engine Problem!

exactly what i thought! typical that when trying to keep costs down this happens! one on order already so hopefully this should cure problem. thanks
  8. Buying Tyres?

Much better experience at Blackcircles.com though...........well worth checking them out first!! :)

  10. Hi All!

Hi Everyone! New to the site and like what i see. I have recently posted a topic on the Focus club page and also the general maintenance section. If you get a chance to look and comment that would be great. Cheers
  11. Mk1 Focus Engine Problem!

Hi Folks, New to the site and like what i see. I have a question, hoping some1 may be able to answer. I have had problems with the car stalling when its hot and coming to a stop at junctions etc. I have replaced the idle control valve for a second hand one and this now is over revving the car and this making it un-driveable!! Has anyone had this problem before? Was it definately the idle control valve or was it something else? Any help at all would be great!! Cheers
