Hi Can anyone help? I have an 03 plate 1.8 Tdci mondeo which has served me well and the poor girl is a little sick. Twice now and with no warning lights the engine just stopped, the first time on a motorway when doing 70, and yesterday when accelerating away from a roundabout. On both occasions. I stopped and turned off the ignition and restarted and everything is fine. Please note that this is not a turbo issue where the car only revs to say 2000 rpm but a total power failure. When doing 70 this is no joke as you loose power steering and servo brakes!!! Can anyone help? Cheers Dave
