  1. not got them yet, but I'm sure they will be :) and I had cool blue side lights too led sidelights do look smart - but they get too hot and cause that multicolour pulsing effect you sometimes see so I prefer normal bulbs instead Sent from my Nexus 7 using Ford OC mobile app
  2. I just got some here mate cheapest i could find
  3. Anyone in the durham area? (bishop Auckland) Iv sold my focus now and have a haynes manual for the mk2 diesel as well as some random interior lights which i had for an ongoing toy! it'll probably cost more than they're worth to post, so come get them if you want them! Tom
  4. Nice one! i hadnt spotted that one before! cheers bud
  5. i think gtechniq will be my next big spend! the rain repellent (G1 i think it is?) and the fabric sealant looks magic! lol need something to seal brake calipers though ..hmm..
  6. definatly yes. I have the set of halfords professional impact sockets - 6 point and great quality. I was changing an exhaust on an 05 punto the other month and slipped the sockrt , I thought it was already too late, but the 6 point socket got it straight off! 7. are you using 6 or 12 point sockets? try a 6, i always find they dont slip as much (i said i find - i dont want some physics person coming stating why it makes no difference!) hahaa have you got an impact gun or anything like that?
  8. Lots of good deeds here. i think i would need to change my pants if i was walking around a dark cemetery and suddenly got lit up!! i had open heart surgery last month so the closest to a good deed iv managed is sorting the pants and socks into pairs! hahaa
  9. Unless anyone has anything bad to say about the slip in ones id go for one of those. I had the one with normal holes which required taking the pipe off and fitting - it was pretty awkward to maneuver the pipe back into place! and i just reused the old soft metal gasket on one side. I just put it in as a 'why not' type of thing - i cant see it being too important that it has a gasket
  10. my osrams blew after a year - but i covered 15-20k miles so i have no problem with a performance bulb blowing after that long i replaced it with the philips and i have to say that i much prefer the osram! it seemed a much cleaner and brighter light no news on lifespan as its only been a couple months, but i think even if it lasted twice as long id still go for the osrams!
  11. ..might be a bit use ..he didnt remove them and everyone on the forum is OCD! hahaa
  12. morrisons is actually the best of the supermarkets - i got between shell and morrisons if i cant get to shell but would never go near tesco/asda/sainsburys stuff! just try esso for a couple tanks and see what sort of mpg/tank range you get with it compared to other
  13. Hi Sorry, i cant add anything to this other than wishing you luck But i think my sump plug thread is stripping so will need a new sump come next service - so if you could post an update when you've done it that'd be great! good luck!
  14. I think they're just random numbers!! Im 20 and my 1.8 focus is 600 for 10k miles - a lot, but at my age its a good quote! An example of how they're just numbers: they say to put relatives as named drivers to lower the price. My dad has maximum no claims, no points, has his own car and bike, and is a police advanced driver, rider and instructor - but last year my insurance was cheaper without him! Its a joke!! 15. if theres no noticeable major mechanical fault I'd just suggest a full service what rate is it dropping? a few mpg is quite normal when the temperature drops
