  1. Thanks for replies to my post. There is a section 30mm wide that doesn't seem to clear. It's right in my line of sight(of course it is). This has only happened in the last 2 weeks, not to be confused with the gap that is in the middle of the screen where the 2 elements are separated.
  2. Hi folks. I've noticed recently that the heated windscreen on my 2010 Fiesta has developed a fault. There is a 30mm wide band running from the top to bottom of the screen that doesn't defrost the screen. It's about 1/3 of the way across the windscreen. Would I be right in assuming the screen would need to be replaced to fix this problem. Thanks in advance for any help.
  3. Thanks folks. Doesn't sound like it's anything to be overly concerned about then.
  4. Hi folks. I have a 2010 Fiesta 1.6 Tdci and the engine cooling fan seems to come on randomly, it seems to have little to do with outside temperature or traffic conditions. It only stays on for 2-3 minutes then goes off. It can happen twice in one week or not at all. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and did you manage to get it fixed. Thanks.
  5. Thanks for the tips folks. I'll keep you posted how I get on.
  6. I run a black zetec. I like the look of silver but feel that the paint has a different look at the join between metal and the plastic bumpers. I also like the colour Ford call Fashionista.
  7. Yes that's right Sambooka. I should have said that in my last post. I only get the burning smell with the engine off. It smell's like a burning plastic smell.
  8. Anyone got any idea's why my Fiesta(2010 1.6 diesel)gets a burning smell in the cabin when the door's or boot lid are open for any length of time. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the interior courtesy light's because if I turn them on manually with the door's closed I don't get the burning smell. This isn't a new problem but one that is a bit of a worry all the same. Thanks.
  9. Welcome to the Ford forums Herr Fiesta :)
