  1. Yeah I had a Focus following me the other day with the badge flipped over, had to stop myself looking in the mirror cos it's so annoying haha.
  2. Looks like you're having a similar experience to me with the upgrade, and I'm still enjoying mine after almost 2 years :). It's worth looking at the Mountune exhaust too, it compliments the MP215 perfectly and sounds great.
  3. ^ They are the standard Bridgestone Potenza tyres that came with the car, fronts were replaced with the same tyres. I think I'll just not buy these tyres again and won't be keeping them much longer anyway, just till they wear down to 3mm. Then I'll find the best reviewed tyres of this size and buy 4 of them (or hope that those CrossClimates become available in this size, not likely).
  4. I always park with my wheels straight, but the car has been outside for basically the whole 2 and a bit years of its life so maybe this tyre cracking is inevitable.
  5. Good to know, I thought it would probably be ok. I'm going to get them rotated soon. The fronts were replaced less than a year ago and they're already starting to show these small cracks, but all 4 tyres are down to about 5mm so will get them rotated soon and then 4 new ones when they're all down to 3mm. I use Autoglym tyre dressing around the edges of the tyres regularly, only on the sides facing outwards obviously. I think there's a warning on it which says to not use it on the parts of the tyres that are actually in contact with the road, because it could reduce grip.
  6. I've noticed some small cracks around the edges of my tyres (see photo below). Are these normal or could it be a problem? The tyres are the standard Bridgestones that came with the car, these are the rear ones which have been on for the whole 2 years I've had the car, just over 22k miles, and still have about 5mm tread.
  7. That's the thing, it wasn't the exhaust. They just didn't know how to fit it properly so it was knocking all the time. I can only tell you about my own experience with them, and I certainly won't be going back.
  8. Based on my experience I'd say steer clear of them, they took about 6 attempts to fit my exhaust correctly and went through 2 exhausts in the process.
  9. I'd say go for the MP215 first and the exhaust next. But that's just because those are the only two things I've bought for my car and have been impressed with both.
  10. ^ Yes I'd say avoid Halfords like the plague. My first service was about £120 or £130 at a Ford dealer. It wasn't a main dealer but I still got the 1 year breakdown cover. But breakdown cover isn't very expensive especially for a 1 year old Fiesta, and any garage that uses Ford parts will not affect the warranty.
  11. I've checked out my dashcam footage after having leaving the car at the dealers a few times now, not seen anything dodgy yet, and that's how I know they didn't take it for a joy ride. There is some amusing stuff though, last time there was a stand off between the mechanic trying to drive my car out of the dealership and a customer trying to find somewhere to park haha.
  12. That's definitely true. In my case they washed the car before the service, then when they went for the test drive they got muck all up the sides of the car.
  13. I found when I get the MP215 it didn't change my MPG at all. Maybe with the intake alone it would give better economy, but I would think the remap will be giving more power but using more fuel. I could be wrong though - there are some maps for diesel engines which supposedly give more power and more MPG.
  14. Good to see someone else using the My Cars app. Here's some of my typical fuel fill ups:
  15. I like how the adverts say "Yes, it's an Astra". They might as well say "The new Astra, it's not as crap as the last one".
