Hi, I have a 2008 57 Reg Focus Zetec Hatchback and I have had similar issues with relation to the "flat tyre" feeling. This has only occurred this week during the snowy period and eased off this morning on clearer roads so I think it is just to do with the temperature and road surface causing that feeling. Countless times early this week I have been worried thinking I had flat front tyres but they are fine. As well as this my ABS has been working a bit and the brakes have felt strange. With regard to the screeching when turning in and out of car parks you do get his in a lot of places. A car park near me for example, every car screeches as they turn into them, it is just the surface becoming shiny due to heavy traffic and rubber wheels trying to grip over it. With regard to the suspension issue, luckily I do not have this so sounds like it could be a fault of some kind. However, this is only my opinion and I am not a mechanic so of course best get it all checked out! Hope this helps.
Hi, I have the same problem. Mine is a 2008 57 plate Zetec with the same stereo. I took to the garage for it's first 12k service and they said it should have a cable connected that terminates at the front of the glove box (on the top left front I have a small circular plastic mould where the input connector sits for a cable to be attached. I am getting the cable/kit fitted on my next service of 25k in a couple of months. Only around £15 Quid. Although, I am thinking of upgrading the stereo to the Sony bluetooth model.... Cheers.
Hi, I have a 2008 Focus Zetec 1.8 TDCi with the 6000CD stereo (without an AUX cable for some really annoying reason, but I do have the AUX button there!) I have an iPhone 3G and wish to A: Send and receive calls through the stereo and B: Play my Ipod tunes through the stereo. My options as I see it are: 1. Buy a Parrot and connect to existing stereo and add a phone car charger. 2. Upgrade my stereo to the Sony Bluetooth model. What would you suggest and does anybody use an iPhone 3G with the Sony Bluetooth upgraded model and does it work/is it compatible for calls and tunes? Thanks.
