  1. I have been the proud owner of a 125PS Ford Fiesta (2013 model), Titanium since about March this year. However in the past 4-6 weeks I have noticed a noise that occurs when first starting the engine from cold, it seems to kick in after about 4/5 seconds of starting the car and the noise itself lasts 4/5 seconds long. It makes no difference if I leave the car in neutral or drive off straight away, the noise still occurs. The best way I can describe the noise is a squeaking/rubber rubbing noise. I have attached a link to a sound clip of the noise, I am reversing the vehicle in the clip but if you listen out right at the start of the sound clip there is a distinct noise that is not the same as the reversing noise. The noise itself seems to be coming from the central region of the vehicle but it is hard to tell if its something under the bonett or something behind the central console. I have booked my car to be looked at on Wednesday but the noise does seem to be getting slightly louder as the weeks go on. I am curious to know if anyone knows what this might be or if anyone has experienced something similar. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/101611507/20130915%20130020.m4a Thanks in advance
  2. Hi, I am after getting some car seat covers for my new 2013 Ford Fiesta Titanium, just wondering if anyone has bought any decent quality ones that fit well and don't cost the earth? Also do Ford do official ones, I couldn't seem to find any on their website? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi I have noticed an occasional noise coming from the drivers seat, I think it is when I move about in the seat and I place pressure on the posture support built into the divers chair (Fiesta 2013 Titanium). It seems to create a kind of knocking noise, I just wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing this? Thanks
  4. Hi I have just received my brand new Ford Fiesta 1.0 125bhp Titanium, which I ordered with the deflation detection system. However I have been playing around with the car tonight and noticed there is an option in the menu system labelled 'deflation detection system', when I select this option I am presented with a message (I can't remember exactly what it says), which requested me to hold down the OK button. After holding the OK button for about 5 seconds an error message appears saying 'tyre pressure not stored'. I have searched the forums and can see there have already been a few people experiencing problems with the deflation detection system, but it seems that most are complaining that the option is not available in the menu system. Does anybody know how to rectify the issue I am experiencing? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
  5. Glad to hear you got the result you wanted mate! I am really hoping mine comes with the mats but we shall wait and see.... due to arrive next week! :D
  6. I amglad someone has asked this question, I have a Ford Fiesta Titanium 1.0 ecoboost on order, will this come with mats if I haven't already agreed it with the dealer? Just looked on the Ford website and on the following web page it states that the Titanium comes with front and back mats as standard, presume this isn't just if you order from Ford, as I have bought my car from a dealership: http://www.ford.co.uk/Cars/Fiesta/Features-and-specifications
  7. Thanks to everyone that has replied so far! I am still a little torn between the two! However I have found the following website that compares the two engines: http://www.carwow.co.uk/blog/Ford-Fiesta-EcoBoost-100PS-Review-361 (Sorry if I'm not allowed to post external links) Sort of makes me think the extra premium for the 125bhp isn't really worth it in my instance.
  8. I did test drive both, the sales assisstant who came along on the test drive was emphasising the use of higher revs on the 125 but he stated that he could personally not tell the difference between the 100PS and 125PS. I couldn't really tell the difference either but this may have been due to the short test drive that I went on. I did find both suitably quick at pulling away and accelerating. However I am planning on keeping the car long term, so I don't know whether to go for the 125. Anyone else with any views on the two different engines to help me decide? Thanks
  9. Hi, I am looking at purchasing a brand new Ford Fiesta Titanium in the next couple of weeks but I am really unsure on what engine size to go for - 123PS or 99PS. I do a lot of driving about town and not a lot of motorway driving at the moment, however this could change in the near future. Please could someone explain the suitability of both engines, i.e. what are the benefits, drawbacks and what type of drivers are they best suited to? Also are there two variants of the ecobost engine, in terms of turbo charged and non-turbo charged, I am slightly confused!? Thanks very much in advance!
  10. Oh right thanks for the reply! Presumably the 5 spoke alloys did not receive the revamp treatment like the 15 spoke ones?
  11. Hi, I have just been to my local dealer and the Fiesta Titanium had the below alloys fitted: Does anyone know if these alloys are prone to buckling too? The car is from Motorpoint and I think they import cars or something so maybe thats why they are differnet. Thanks again
  12. Sorry I didn't make myself clear its a toss up between the 2012 Titanium 1.4 or possibly waiting 6/9 or even 12 months for a resonably priced second hand 2013 model?
  13. Great, thanks for the responses! I am extremely tempted to get a Fiesta 1.4 Titanium! Is it a decent car or should I really be waiting for a second hand 2013 model in 6/9 months time?
  14. Hi, I am currently looking into purchasing a Ford Fiesta, in particular the 1.4 Titanium 5 door, 2012 model. However as you are all probably well aware there have been a number of reports regarding the wheels/alloys buckling, which seems to be a common issue with the Fiesta. I just wanted to clarify did Ford change the wheels or alloys on the Titanium model after a specific manufacturing date or are they still the same? Thanks in advance!
