  1. Renting from rug doctor this week and have bought some upholstery cleaning products so i'll let you know how i get on over the weekend :D
  2. You may as well save a few more quid and buy coilovers and get the ride height and setup exactly tailored to your needs.
  3. I use an app :D Road Trip Works perfectly. You can play with all the settings and get all the info you need as long as you yourself input the correct figures every time you fill your car :D
  4. That exhaust hangar isn't correct. It looks as though its taken a whack or maybe in a garage the lift has caught it. You were indeed right the box is hitting the suspension spring! It'll be a case of you physically bending it back to its correct position or a garage doing so. Obviously be careful as to not break the weld.
  5. Some people take standard options off to get other optional extras on. If the car was sold to you not as described then i would definitely take it back and kick up a fuss!
  6. Welcome :) Have a look around and don't be afraid to ask questions no matter how silly they sound :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Of course. But why google and get a possible 1,000,000 possible answers when a car forum has members who have already done it and can give me an exact answer. It's why we use the forum isn't it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Figures smigures!!! You'll never know 100% what mpg you'll get until you drive one. My Mk2 1.8 TDCI Focus got 50mpg My current Mk3 1.0 EcoBoost Focus petrol (125ps) gets 45mpg Those are accurate figures [emoji6] As to choice it'll all be on personal preference. I presume you'd get similar spec on either engine type and the insurance will be similar too? Diesel for mpg Petrol for performance Although like any car changes can be made to standard. 9. How do you get the forscan software?
  10. Got all the bits apart from the wiring harness/loom which I think is going to be the most difficult to find/buy! :( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Prices are NEVER set it's just what they say! :D
  12. How much was it exactly?
  13. Have a good look on AutoTrader and Dealerships for similar cars and see what prices/features there are. Have a price in your head that you'd be happy with and stick to it or as close to it as you can. Get extras, Evans Halshaw only do a 3 month warranty and will get you to try and buy the extended one. Don't fall for that as Ford Warranty covers 3 years for most parts. Floor mats, mud flaps, spoiler ;) and maybe even different alloys etc are good extras to have thrown in also if you can for a bit of haggling and that important sale for them! At the end of the day if you're happy with the car/price go for it. I dealt with Nick (South African) and he seemed a straight laced type of bloke.
  14. When i first started driving i always used to use supermarket fuel but i haven't done for years since cutting open a fuel filter and seeing how gunky it had got! I now only use ESSO, BP or SHELL. I prefer ESSO as i pass two on my route to work so easy. Every few tanks i top up with BP Ultimate for the cleaning properties and have never had any problems. It may well be placebo or for my own piece of mind but the MPG speaks for itself.
