  1. Happy Birthday Frankie_A_!

  2. Cheers mate! I was thinking of going for something a bit different as opposed to fiesta alloys, quite tempted to try and make some 13x7 Capri wheels work..
  3. I'm looking at replacing my standard steel wheels with alloys, just wondering what the width and offset is on the original steel wheels fitted to mk4 fiestas? I have checked for stamps or anything but I couldn't find any markings:/ Also, what wheels have you fitted to your fiestas?
  4. Ah right, I'll have a look at those, see if I can free them up a bit:)
  5. Nice one, I'll check the anti roll bar bushes for any deterioration or excessive wear. How do I go about checking the drop links? Just check for any play? Thanks!
  6. No ideas yet? I jacked it up and removed the front wheels today to see if there was anything obviously loose and there isn't which is vaguely reassuring. I'll take it to the garage next week and see if they have any ideas, hopefully something I can fix myself.
  7. Just brought myself a 1998 fiesta 1.4 and found it has quite a loud knocking, particularly noticeable when I go over a bump in the road. Any ideas? I've checked wheel bearings and they seem fine. The knocking is almost certainly coming from the front of the car. Thanks for your help!
  8. Thanks everyone! 50 cars?!? That's impressive, how'd you manage that?
  9. Here's hoping ford ownership will be as trouble free for me too:)
  10. Thanks! Nope this is my first, started out with a polo a year ago and now fancied a change. My dad's had several mondeo's and I figure I can't really go wrong.
  11. So I've just brought myself a 1998 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Ghia. It's a great little car but not in as good condition as I first thought:/ I'm afraid i already have lots of problems i need help sorting but perhaps I can help all of you with some things too. Frankie.
  12. Welcome to the Ford forums Frankie_A_ :)
