  1. it won't do any harm to your engine.
  2. Yes your car will take it ok. What will it do? Probably not that much. The claims are it will give you a few more MPG and perhaps slightly better performance. It might also, over prolonged use, help clean your engine. Its all very difficult to substantiate and personally I just use the normal stuff and have never had any issues. Perhaps someone who has used it would be able to tell you if it really does make a difference for your 7p or 8p per litre extra.
  3. I have the Non LED DRL lights on my Precious Zetec S and bought a set of Cheap LED side light bulbs on EBay, had to get ones that are Canbus so it doesn't trigger the car to think there are no bulbs in place. A few pounds and never had any problems with them at all. The problem with the DRL's is they are the same bulb as the Full beam. Not sure now but at the time there was NO bulbs that you could upgrade to to give you either better DRL or Full beam performance.
  4. So I was investigating a rattle and managed to break the end off the Glovebox Ambient Light strip, where the strip connects to the LED adapter behind the Glovebox (photo attached.). Can anyone suggest a way that I could fix this rather than spending lots of money buying a new one? Thanks
  5. I have mine 1 PSI above the recommended and I find it doesn't smash over potholes the same. Also feels more secure as well when driving.
  6. Thanks
  7. My headlight bulb has blown so need to buy some new ones. The manual says headlight/DRL H15 but I have the LED DRL so which headlight bulb do I need? Also whats the current favourite bulb to get? I had the Nightbreaker Unlimited but would like something a bit whiter but want them to be super bright, Thanks
  8. Yeah you'll need to get a proper Ford one thought a main dealer that's matched to your car. The fob contains the immobiliser electronics so without this it won't start. Bad news is there are very, and I mean very, expensive
  9. Ditto, I have these and they are very bright and pretty white. I believe that Philips ones are a bit whiter but not quite so bright.
  10. when you say you re-downloaded them? where did you download them from? If its a legit site then they may be DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected in which case they won't play other than the authorised device. If thats not the case are they MP3 format? can you try the stick on another car or another PC?
  11. If you change the head unit, which I am not sure if its the same connections, you would also need to change the Arial as, I believe, DAB uses a different type of Ariel to FM.
  12. On Ebay not that expensive. You can also get them at Chinese sites like Alixpress but they take months to arrive.
  13. that's for the 125 engine, will that still work on the 140?
  14. Other models in the range come with Ambient lighting which includes a red LED strip just above the glove box, there is a narrow strip that it clips into. I did this with my Red Edition and its amazing the difference it makes. You need 2 parts, the strip itself and the LED attachment. the LED part is about £5 the strip is more expensive, best part of £50. I got mine on Ebay used for £20.. Very simple to fit as well :). Other things would be the "S" badges front and rear and upgrade the bulbs to better/whiter ones and also change the indicator bulbs to silver ones. The idea about changing the foot well bulbs to red ones is nice, again I did this and it looks lovely at night. I had problems with LEDs though so eventually went for normal bulbs which I think are just right.
  15. Hope I'm no tempting fate but my Red Edition doesn't do it, or at least I've never noticed anything, and believe me if it was there I'd notice it lol.
