  1. OK thanks I'll have a look. The only reason I haven't thought it was anything exhaust related is becasue the noise comes from the centre-left hand side of the car, but the exhaust is on the right side on my car. But then again, the system does twist and turn towards the centre doesn't it?
  2. Ok guys I need some help. I have a: 2004 Ford Fiesta 1.25 LX mrk-6. Recently a loud rattling sound comes from the middle of my car, perhaps more towards the left than right side. This happens at low revs and seems to fade when some gas pedal is applied. https://youtu.be/8zy6NhoQhkg https://youtu.be/pdZ5Uexctdk There is also a slight clanking sound when changing the lower gears. Is my chassis loose? As it's a front wheel drive car, it can't be a loose drive train right? Maybe the exhaust system running under the car is loose?
  3. thanks guys. last weekend I got the orange engine warning light on my dashboard, (it is still there and I'm getting it checked on tuesday). this appeared about 3 weeks after I had plugged this pipe back into the engine. are these events connected in any way? Maybe I should take it out again! cheers
  4. Hi all, Im new here but hope you can help me. (2004 Fiesta 1.25 LX, 5 door) I topped up my engine oil the other day and noticed a pipe (with 'eco' written on it) hanging loose from the engine. I plugged it back in and it hasnt fallen out since (a few weeks). it does not 'click' back in or anything but seems to be ok now. I'm worried some damaged could have been inflicted on my engine whilst the pipe was out however. I dont know how long it was out for either, could be anywhere between a week and a few months. What is this mystery pipe? thanks in advance. here is a pic:
