    Hi there, my cooling doesn't cut in when ac is activated. Any ideas? Shorted it directly to battery and spins fine.

    Engine management light doesn't normally come because of that. I have my air box off and had that oil breather pipe disconnected to nothing for about a month till I could be bothered to get a mini breather filter off eBay and attach it to it to cool the oil and stuff.

    My cooling fan doesn't come on with AC as it should. Tested it with direct connection to battery and it spins fine. Car is mk6 zetec 2003. Any ideas?? :(

    It seems to be the oil breather pipe. It's connected to your big air box and uses the air that comes through your induction pipe to cool the oil in the engine :)
