This topic generally focuses on *opening* the bonnet when the locking mechanism has failed, however would the same method be used to successfully close the bonnet? At the moment when I try to close it, only the security latch engages - the main lock, needed to keep it firmly in place, is not engaging. I'm wondering if this screwdriver trick will somehow spark the lock back into life and, when I slam it shut, both locks will engage. Thanks
