  1. hi when i apply full lock i get this jerky movement from the drivers side wheel, also when i brake that same wheel wanders, and when driving sometimes the wheel wanders mostly pulling the car to the right
  2. hi thanks for the reply i bought it from a dealership so i am going to phone them up and have them look at it
  3. Hi when i do speeds about 50 mph and above there is a rattling noise coming from the front of car sound like if it's coming from the engine bay it only happens when i press the accelerator pedal to gain speed but when i ease of the pedal the noise is not there i remember when i looked through the owners manual i read something about the regeneration process of the dpf filter that there can be a clicking metallic sounds at low speeds or engine idle so i don't know if that is normal or there is a problem i just bought the car two weeks ago
  4. hi all thanks for the reply's maybe was hoping ford would come out with a statement or something. I contacted ford but yet to receive a reply. its a bit of a dilemma on what to do so very grateful for the reply's
  5. hi as i am due to pick up a 13 plate ford focus with keyless entry next week. i was concerned to hear that thieves are targeting these cars so was looking for advice on what to do to protect the car that i am buying from being a target from thieves.
  6. hi martyntdci that's great for the extra information hopefully the message gets across just hope people don't remove there filters from there cars. i know now it's illegal and can fail a mot what i don't know is can there be a fine involved
  7. your welcome
  8. maybe people just think it's still legal i thought so my self until now, i personally won't be taking the risk so it's worth checking out prior to getting any work done
  9. thanks for pointing that out to me as i would not have thought of checking it out as i have heard of lots of people getting them removed, i definitely wont be getting this removed now so thanks for the advice
  10. i have looked into this and a came across the the new rules set out by the government
  11. hi jeebowhite thanks for the great advice as i have heard of lots of people getting the dpf filter removed i thought i might be legal but it goes to show you need to seek advice before removing the filter
  12. i am glad it can pass a mot with the dpf filter removed. Is there any difference in performance and mpg. Do you have to inform the insurance company. I would prefer to take it to a garage for the removal and remap prices are ok considering the price you would pay for a new dpf filter
  13. hi landy39 how much did it cost to get the dpf removed It's something i will consider later on once the car is finished with the warranty is it ok with mot's with the dpf filter removed
  14. hi mariomk3 when i am on motorway i don't try and keep with the speed other drivers are doing i stay at a speed that i am happy with i suppose i must be one of the 10% that don't do 80 mph
  15. that's good figures for the speed you where doing
