  1. The volume control on my steering wheel as stopped working. The one on the dashboard works ok.
  2. Hi I am currently getting 47 - 48 mpg around town and 55 mpg on decent runs. The car is a zetec S 1.0 125 petrol with 3.500 miles on clock, hope that helps.
  3. pics of S badge position on my ZS the front one is a bit hard to see if I get chance I will take another picture.
  4. had my ZS 125 for about 7 weeks now and I have got to say it's great. It has done 2,200 miles now and I drove back from Cornwall on Thursday (380 miles) A30 - M5 - M6 and driving at motorway speeds managed 55.2 mpg. What are you guys getting?
  5. Hi Joe I have only done about 650 miles so can't give you an accurate figure yet but at the moment it's showing 47.3 mpg, a mix of town driving with a little bit of motorway. I think it would be a lot better on a long journey.
  6. Hi Joe Yes it does sound good and I got frozen white I know it's the new silver to some people and I have to say it looks good in red, but at my age I think white was the better choice (less boy racer)!!
  7. The engine is very quiet on tick over but has a lovely growl when you put yor foot down (brilliant) I can't comment on how it compares with the old 1600 engine, but in the past I have owned a couple of Fiesta XR2's and to be honest this car feels better, but of course they were old technology compared with today's Fiesta.
  8. I have the zetec s 1.0 petrol 125 bhp and have only done about 600 miles so far, but I have to say I am impressed with the performance, it certainly compares to my previous car (Jaguar X type 2.0d sport estate) The level of trim is excellent for a small hatchback and like others was undecided about going for the ST but to be honest I don't think I need the extra performance.
  9. Yes you are right, sorry but I forgot about the diesel engine. If you do high mileage then that may be the best option but I went for petrol this time as I don't do as many miles.
  10. Hi Jim I got the zetec s which only comes with the 125bhp engine, it's very good.
  11. picked up my zetec s last week in frozen white, it came with sports pedals and privacy glass. It drives really well and so far I am very pleased with it, the performance is excellent. Overall a great little car. I traded in a Jaguar X type sport diesel estate for the Fiesta which I had owned for the last 8 years but needed to downsize. The performance certainly compares to the Jag and it really is good fun to drive.........
  12. Welcome to the Ford forums kennypops :)

Thanks for that. Here's to a long and happy relationship with my Fiesta zetec S. I had a couple of XR2's in the 80s , they were great cars and after owning

a Jaguar X type for the last 8 years (very good car by the way) I am back with Ford.
