Have the car a clean need to get the alloys repainted next year also found these 😍 so now looking into getting some RS shell seats for the ST haha
  3. Philf1's Nitrous Blue Focus RS

Phil, have you had any issue or worries regarding head gasket? a few RS's for sale now in the 25k range but always in my mind, the ST blows up its 2k to forge it or £800 for new OEM pistons, but would love an RS, how is it handling wise only ever driven an Audi TT with AWD so not much to compare it to

So this weeks uodates, after fitting the new intake system, I went to change my boost pipes under the car, removed the larger pro alloy kit due to them giving me more turbo lag than I wanted ie should be boosting hard 2.2k instead was hitting 2.6 2.7 not idea, so went and fitted JS performance silicon hoses with a Mountune hard pipe, same as before, but I had to adapt the intercooler the TB hose to allow it to fit my mustang TB, didn’t get any photos of this sorry was a manic day removed my ceuk halos just didn’t use them and far to common now, gave the bumper behind the trims a good clean vhanged the tyres over over to the st stock alloys, was enjoying the stock look for a couple of days Thursday made the long trip to Bedford to drop my team dynamics wheels off to their new owner, following on from that drove to reading to swop my st alloys some cash in return for those and some bc racing coilovers ;) enjoy the new looks needs a good clean tho! had to let me Dad drive home tho scary very scary lol and then one one day at work I get this 😂😂😂

like the plate Phil, have to say tho that seat id have gone nuts, glad you got it sorted, id recommend waxing or putting auto finesse leather seat compound stuff on makes it soft feeds the leather and keeps the colour nice and bright also helps the rubbing, you can get a kit its £31 for a cleaner and sealer to protect it

A few more things changed today, new short shifter shifter bracket bushes replaced, same solid type as in the gear shifter base also new hybrid intake system, revo crossover, down into stock air box, provides the most cool air and helps keep intake temps lower proven via a member on another forum against other intakes ( just need to install a velossa tech big mouth and change the filter to a k&n ) I know I toke a velossa tech off the car when I got it lol New footrest as well deal set set up on new wheels and tyres so will have a new look come the weekend :) more to come

So decat and balance shaft kit installed and sump baffle all went well very oily tho lol if anyone wants a mod to do please get rid of this 20lbs lump of *****! Hasn’t made any difference to my vibration on idle or running driving and the revs now spin up! Wheel spin in third without any effort straight to red line! Combine this and the lightweight pulleys which I should get after Xmas it’s going to rev like crazy! also current pic of car, sub strip removed, going to get new bonnet vents TS colour, wing mirrors going back to stock colour, new headlight and taillights on order, new induction kit on order and new boost pipes too, meth kit to be installed in coming weeks, and should hopefully be going back to stock grill sick of my number plate location, bc racing coils and possibly some new alloys to pick up 🙄🤔 watch this space I’ll do a video with decat to hear it soon

Cheers no my new wheel is from control custom steering wheels they are on Facebook, couldn't warrant £1000 for an SS tuning one haha and stratified maps, after speaking with a few people who got them they had issues with them, but saying that I've since learnt each map you buy from them for an additional fee you data log the car on runs send the logs off they adjust the file to your exact car so the map on my accessport is useless as it was for the previous owners car not mine, so once I have water meth installed late sept I will be getting a map of theirs to try but you can specify how hard you want the boost to hit I'll just ask for slightly less boost torque, I'm aiming for fast useable power hence hybrid turbo not big turbo which starts boosting 4K rpm plus :)
  13. D13HPD ST-2

Got these fitted last night and this morning!! SS tuning gear know and gaitor and some solid shifter bushes to stop the old crappy Ford rubber ones from flexing while you try to change gear, + with the weight gear knob changing gears is a breeze no more cluncky gears and so presice I recommend them both! I also have some solid bushes to fit in the gear box bracket it's self as well Hopefully have some more bits done later or tomorrow! these are the old crap ones All back together 👍👌

A nice little update :) got myself a cobb accessport, removed the Collins cp300 tune back to stock and installed the cobb stage 3 98ron tune produces 2psi more boost and feels stronger higher up the rev range than the cp tune have to run 99ron fuel all the time tho, but the beauty with this is that I can change the tune to anything I want that's installed on the cobb in about 2mins :) it does have a stratified crackle tune but not going to use it as have heard many horror stories about them so it's just a safe tune for now, decat should be fitted this week with new spark plugs again 😂 This time they are J gapped which is proved to burn a lot more and reduce coke and suit build up Finally got my new steering wheel, fitted the cruise control switch and wiring loom cannot wait to get this on now! edit: also if anyone wants instructions on how to cut the wheel to add the switches and wires see this guide that i used and also the part numbers are on there for the bits needed :) http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/article/274-retrofitting-original-cruise-control-on-a-focus-mk3

It's one of those things that's been tested time and time again tbh, they work to a degree I use either shell v power or Tesco 99 momentum fuel both 99Ron rating and with additives in already, so the extra stuff I use is purely to make sure the fuel is 99+ will it effect the power no, not unless your car is custom mapped on say 101 rom fuel, my map is only 97ron so 99ron fuel ain't going to add 20bhp and neither is this additive what it is going to do is clean the fuel tank line filters injectors manifold valves block pistons etc so it's a cleaner burn less carbon build up means less power lost and a healthier engine :) the only other noticeable thing they do do, is reduce the amount of ignition timing the ecu cuts and less knock on the pistons the ecoboost engines suffer from the ecu pulling timing out a lot when it detects any knocking going on
