Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Cheers Mark. When you say sill is that the bit behind the side skirt but before the rail? He jacked her on this bit.... Doesn't seem to be any damage but pretty certain this isn't the correct location.
  2. Mucking around with my car tonight at my Dads. Went to the toilet, come back and he has the car jacked up and half the front wheel off. Look underneath and discover he's jacked the car up with a trolly jack on the the bit before the rail (there a little circular rubber thing on the bottom of car just before the rail - directly behind where the side skirt inset in. Not much I could do, so inspect the car for damage, couldn't see anything, so carry on replacing a brake pad. Firstly am i right in thinking this isn't the correct jacking location (he seemed to think it was fine for a trolley jack) and if it's not what sort of damage could be done from jacking up at this location? The car was only up enough to get the front wheel off, but I'm paranoid because got the MOT next week! Cheers.
  3. Fiesta Mk7 Asian/sports Grill

Would be interested in getting this.
  4. Rimblades?

Like the look of the alloy gators. I don't fancy glueing anything to my wheels unless I can get them of without damaging the wheel/tyre What to people llike better.... Alloy gator or rimblades?
  5. Rimblades?

Hi there, Got new 17" black alloys but I'm beside myself worrying I'll kurb them so I've decided I need to invest in some sort of protection. Was looking around and came across rimblades - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_922523_langId_-1_categoryId_246902 Has anyone ever used these (or similar products)? Do they look tacky? Are they easily removable? Ultimately my goal is to get a similar look to this - http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l503/southerngirl10/20110511_20.jpg (Going to paint the brake calipers red). Cheers
  6. Mk7.5 St Diffuser On Mk7 Fiesta

  7. Mk7.5 St Diffuser On Mk7 Fiesta

Sorry to dig up an old thread. Where did you buy the rear diffuser from.
  8. Yeah there a bit steep like. Not sure how much I'd get for my old 16" set (not street pack). Good condition, few marks but nothing major.
  9. Cheers mate. Anyone know if there decent?
  10. Hi there, Looking for a set of black streetpack 17" alloys for my white MK7 Fiesta Zetec S (2012) Seen these ones on Ford Parts - http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_fiesta_alloy_wheel_17_x_7_5_spoke_y_design_panther_black_f_1759896_c_1103.htm But not sure if they are the official ones? Definitely want the official Ford ones. Any help would be much appreciated Cheers,
  11. Phew, seriously was getting worried there!! If i get the car serviced tomorrow at 15k do I more onto the third service interval?
  12. Motorpoint. Yeah just checked there, the dealership serviced it at 8808 miles
  13. Actually yeah! THank f**k.... she was serviced on 20/4/13 at 8808 miles. Does that I mean I go onto the second service interval?
  14. It was registered in April 2012, so was a year old when I bought it at 8k miles. Now got 15k on it. Seriously wished I'd checked this sooner.
  15. Hi there, I think I may have buggered my three year warranty.... Bought the car in April, it had 8k miles on her. Since then I've taken the car to about 15k. I've had no problems with the car, runs like a treat but I was going through my paper work the other night in preparation for a service has got me worried about the warranty. Reading the first service interval is 12500 miles. Do you reckon I'm buggered? If so is there anyway around this? Realistically I'm only 3k miles over it but I guess Ford don't care. I plan to get it serviced in a Ford garage but if there's no budging them a local garage. Any help or advice would be much appreciated! Cheers,
