  1. Yeah I see what you mean, when the problem is intermittent there's no way of knowing it will show up when they test it. So what did they do when they said you had a bent clutch pedal? Was it fixed? Mine actually had a new clutch fitted about a year ago as the one from new supposedly had a problem from the beginning (had the car from new, factory order). This was done under warranty as I didn't play apart in it's failure. But I had this problem with the clutch sticking after the new one was fitted. Strange. Like I said, haven't had any problems since and the car is going in two weeks. Hopefully it was just a one off and it doesn't happen again. Someone else on here may know something about this fault though. I'm a complete novice!
  2. I had a similar problem to what you're describing last year. The clutch only appeared to 'stick' when it was really, really cold in winter. Did it intermittently for a few weeks and then haven't had it since. Nothing showed up when the car was serviced and Ford didn't seem too concerned when I told them. It could have had nothing to do with the temperature and it would be the first I've heard of something like this happening, but you never know. For your own reassurance it's probably best to get it checked just to make sure. Probably worth mentioning my car is a MK7.
  3. This made me chuckle. On topic. I pick up my Zetec S in Deep Impact Blue on the 21st on this month. I'll add some photos once it's here.
  4. Looks very similar to me. Here's the Zetec S in Deep Impact Blue: And here's the ST in Spirit Blue: So they have different names so must be a different shade. I'm not sure I can see it though :) Edit: Not sure why I didn't think of checking the Ford website in the first place for a pic of the new blue. Oh well.
  5. Great, thanks for the photo. That is very nice! That's definitely helped the nerves, looks great! Just need Ford to get a move on now :)
  6. Haha! That pretty much confirmed it. Yeah keeping the white clean can feel impossible at times but when it is, it looks brilliant. I'm a little nervous about the new blue as I haven't seen it yet but I'm sure it will look nice. Could be a few months yet for me though!
  7. Ah right not sure about that then. I still think white is the best colour on thr fiesta though. I would have got it again but fancied a change this time. I agree on the candy blue too, not for me.
  8. It isn't available on any model anymore unfortunately, it's been replaced by deep impact blue. Haven't seen one in that colour yet but guessing as it's only just changed on the ford website, we won't for a while. I'll post pictures of mine when I get it though.
  9. Is that the nautical blue? Suits the car! Currently waiting on mine but in deep impact blue. Seems to have replaced the nautical blue.
  10. I'm new around here so hope I'm not completely wrong :)
  11. Can't imagine you'd need two spare keys to be able to get a new key. My car and I'm assuming all new cars, come with two keys, if you were to lose one of these that would mean you'd never be able to replace one. Pretty sure they can reprogramme a new key from one and not two. No real evidence for this, just assuming. If in doubt, ask ford.
  12. Ford have stopped making the Nautical Blue now. Recently tried to order a Zetec S in this colour and was told it was no longer available. It's been replaced by Deep Impact Blue, which is what I went for in the end. It's closer to the Blue of the ST instead, which I prefer. Can't go wrong with white though! Currently have a pre-facelict Zetec in white and it does look nice. Although they're ALOT of them about! Given that Frozen White is now a £250 extra, maybe they'll be less of them knocking about and more Red? Who knows. Here's a link to Ford with the updated colours.'>
  13. Welcome to the Ford forums Bret McKenzie :)
