  1. The back tyres are different but one on the back has UN even wear and a little bit lumpy tread. I'm goin to order some new tyres today! Can tracking make my steering rumble? I'll get the alloys switched around as well after the tyres have been changed. Sent from my HTC One X+ using Ford OC mobile app
  2. Nexus All that you mentioned I believe the mechanics have checked, the tracking is out but not buy a lot. Sent from my HTC One X+ using Ford OC mobile app
  3. I'm baffled by it 2 totally different mechanics have looked at it and test drove it. I'm going to record my drive to work in the morning cause that's when it seems to rumble the worst. Cold tyres maybe! Random I know...! Sent from my HTC One X+ using Ford OC mobile app
  4. Neither of the above mate had them all checked.! I'm thinking maybe tyres? As the owner before me put real cheap budgets on it. Sent from my HTC One X+ using Ford OC mobile app
  5. Hi any one that can give me some advice I say thanks in advance! I've got a focus 1.6 tdci 2011 zetec s. My steering wheel is shaking. At speeds all the way up from 20 to 80 but more noticeable at around 60/70mph. Had wheels balanced they was fine had new dics and pads and still no change. Also seems worse 1st thing in the morning as it's been test drove by Mercedes mechanics and others and they can't find a problem (middle of the day test drives) Sent from my HTC One X+ using Ford OC mobile app

  7. Nice one artscot I shall be booking it up then. The car needs abit more get up and go! I'll get my alloys checked or I'll by an aftermarket set, my car is like a graphite grey colour so I'm inclined to buy a black set :)
  8. Thanks for your replys lads.! I never thought it might be a buckled wheel cause after they've been balanced the car drives rumble free for about 2 or 3 days then it just starts again. And as for the re-map mine is 110 standerd with about 55mpg. Just ain't sure if a re-map or a gain of 30 odd bhp the cars mechanical parts would withstand it. Thanks again
  9. Thanks Johnson the tracking is slightly out as the steering goes left a tiny bit when going straight, but even still I've had cars where the tracking is miles out and never had the weights keep dropping off alloys or had to keep getting the balanced.
  10. Hi, new to this. I recently bought 2011 (60 plate) focus 1.6tdci zetec s. In the 6 weeks I've owned the car I've had the front alloys balanced 4 time (different garages) and 2 or 3 days later steering wheel is rumbling between 60mph/80mph. Never experienced this before and neither has anybody I know! Has any 1 on here? And I'm thinking of re-mapping it has anybody done it? And how was the out come? :)
