  1. Depends if you sell it privately, it might give the new buyer some piece of mind. Won't matter if you trade it in, they'll give you the least they can. When I traded my fiesta mk6 in (2004 model) I was given the 'book price' and once I'd agreed they then asked about service history. If you do it yourself, keep all receipts and you can write in the service manual the date/mileage etc. Fifth gear ran an article a while back on servicing your car at home. ^^^^ good advice, just do what the service schedule says with good parts and fluids. 2. Try it, just don't scratch it. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  3. If the fuel pick up is standard, why wouldn't all fiestas suffer similarly? Try changing the fuel filter, it certainly sounds like a fuel problem. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  4. Manufacturers can have the oil analysed and will know if it's the wrong type. Assuming the car suffers an early life failure of course. The big deal with the Ecoboost is the cambelt, it runs in the engine oils, so the oil MUST be the right spec. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  5. Just search the 'Web! Look up Team Heko for one... You must stipulate the year and how many doors.... Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  6. Nice warm red led's won't light the car up, not even with the led strip fitted as well. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  7. This was my previous Black Edition, I fitted the glovebox led strip. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  8. I believe the holders are there, you just need the lamps or led's put in if you don't have them Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  9. That's identical to my 1.0 Zetec S Ecoboost. Fine car, love it, love all the Ecoboost range, I've had 3 in 4 years lol. What are you having to decide about? Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  10. Red led strip across the glovebox and red led's in the footwell lights gives a lovely warm ambience. Especially in winter.... Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  11. Gold looks good on a grey car too, I did my i30 calipers, front and back in gold. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  12. Yes repainted, but prepare the surfaces better this time, painting on to dirt/dust is asking for trouble. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  13. Ive always been an addict for detail, once a month the wheels come off so I can polish the whole of the wheels and not just the fronts lol. While they're off I pressure wash under the arches (carefully!) then clean up any rusting bolts or nuts, clean exposed threads out an polish anything easily visible as a passer by haha.... 14. An hour a side. Nothing special about the paint, the preparation is everything, dismantle, clean, degrease, rub down. I used a fine, small brush and applied 4 coats of caliper paint. Let it dry after the last coat, then re-assemble using copper based grease in the right amounts and places. Keeping them. Lean after is important or they get to look shabby but my paint hasn't come off. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  15. Seriously folks, I can understand people wanting to make their brakes LOOK more "mutts nuts" but for a road going older fiesta, a properly working braking system is fine. For a track day car it's worth upgrading if you have deep pockets as others have said. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
