  1. What Rattles In Your Fiesta?

Nothing. No rattles at all. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  2. New Fiesta Range - Red & Black Editions

No mate, my GPS was a blue MJet. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  3. And i got my bill for £127.00 from Furrows today, almost £30 less than they initially quoted. It's back in not Friday for the rear seatbelt recall parts to be fitted. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  4. New Fiesta Range - Red & Black Editions

On the contrary, I speak from experience. I owned a remapped 1.9 Grande Punto with 190 bhp and shedloads of torque. In a straight line that was probably quicker than the Black. In corners a totally different proposition, the GP was much heavier. The 1.4 turbo petrol Abarth is also a much heavier car. Fiat are also well known for "overstating" performance. Something that was often discussed in Fiat Forums. The Black and Red editions on the other hand are very light, nimble and handle many times better, I suspect the performance figures are also understated. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  5. New Fiesta Range - Red & Black Editions

My bog standard Black is quicker than an Abarth Punto or 500 Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  6. I'd do the pollen filter myself if needed. It does seem that the dealers will also do any updates to software if there have been any and ensure any recall work has been done. Still narks me that I could do the service myself with real care for the cost of the bits.... I wonder what their "general check over" involves? Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  7. Best I've had is from Nova Ford in nearby Newport (Shropshire) at £131.78 Highest was Furrows in Telford at £151.50 Has to be at most a 30 minute job, and parts I know through my work at a major car parts supplier are around £30 maximum trade for oil and filter if that. So that seems like a right Royal rip-off of £200 an hour labour and the technician won't get that. I've considered a VAT registered independent but not got quotes yet because of the warranty minefield if there's any doubt about what gets done. Furrows also offered 12 months free breakdown/recovery cover included. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  8. Hi all, it's time for my Black to get its first service at 12 months old. It's got 7,000 miles on and I know the first service is usually just an oil and filter change. I had 3 quotes and I wondered what you guys with the 1.0 Ecoboost Fiestas have paid and did you think it reasonable. Main dealer service by the way. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC mobile app
  9. Hi guys n gals, can't seem to find any "Hot Mustard" touch up paint for my Mrs Zetec S Fiesta on the internet selling sites. Reluctant to pay dealer prices, I'd also order some Panther Black for my Black Edition too. Any ideas anyone? I can't even seem to find the Paint codes....... Cheers... 11. Simple Oil Change...... Not

Choice of oil, quantity of oil, choice of filter, tightness of filter, cleanliness, burnt hands, skinned knuckles, getting under the car, dipping the level... I stick by my suggestion above! Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
  12. Simple Oil Change...... Not

If I'm honest, I'd recommend you ask someone who knows the basics to show you what to do. Oil and filter changes are very basic but there are pitfalls that could destroy your engine. Either that or take it to a local independent who will charge reasonably rather than rip you off. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
  13. Simple Oil Change...... Not

The most likely reason is you have a different 2.0 engine. See if you can find the engine number. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
