  1. Havn't had an alarm but it may have started when i exited the car with keys in my pocket and ignition on but no engine running i think!
  2. This one's a minor, but still puzzling. I have a 2012 Focus. Just noticed a flashing red 'i' light when the car is locked. Its located between the temp and fuel gauges. Not noticed it during the 5 months i've owned the car! I think that if the light stays on there is a 'message' to be read, but I can't see one. Is this normal for the 'locked' state? Advice please.
  3. Have run just over 5000 miles so far and I am using 1 litre of oil per 1000 miles. Dealer advises this is normal due to finer manufacturing tolerance!!. Would have thought this improved the usage with less gaps for it to get through to combustion chamber - True or false? Is this likely to improve? Why did my previous 2006 Mondeo 2.0 130 TDCi not use ANY oil at all in 6 years I had it ? Puzzling, for an amateur!!
  4. I have Titanium X 62 plate. My main beam activates when I use stalk for temporary flash and permanent use (on Auto Lamps). Suggest you talk with dealer.
  5. Brought up on Vauxhalls, then switched to Ford with company cars. Good experiences, mostly, (ignoring DPF's and EGR's) led me to my recent aquisition. One year old Focus 1.6 Ecoboost 182 Titanium X Estate. Tried a 1.0 125 but not impressed with acceleration in an estate. Think I was spoilt with my previous 2.0 TDCi Mondeo. Very nifty after the turbo kicked in! A few niggles so far, to be expanded in the forum at a later date! But overall - I like it - especially the toys in it! :)
