  1. Happy Birthday D3MENT3D!

  2. Changing Seats To St/zetec S

Thanks for the replies lads, looks like I'll be on the hunt for the ST seats then as I prefer the half leather with blue inserts as my cars ocean blue and there seems to be more of them on the bay of E. And yes mine is a MK6 Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  3. Photos On The Iphone App

I get the same on the iPad app, pretty much ruins half of the site Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  4. Well I've had enough with the seats on my 2007(56) zetec 3 door, they kill my already bad lower back and I find myself slipping out of them on slip roads. Now, my mate has a corsa VXR with the comfiest seats I've ever sat in. So instead of buying a vauxhall, I've decided I'm keeping the fiesta at least another year to take the kids to Florida. Anyway back on topic, I'm looking at getting a set of ST seats, half leather and ideally heated so a few questions; Is the Zetec S seat the same as the ST just without the badging? Will my car have the wiring for the seat heaters already in, if not what else will I need? Does the door cards also have the same fabric as the new seats or would I be wasting my money and time for basically silver grab handles? And will I have any problems with pre tensioners in the new seats? I plan on getting the front and back seats in blue half leather Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  5. What Mpg Do You Actually Get

Car is in good condition, well serviced and I'm not driving on the redline. It was 32.2 until I decided to deliberately do some Eco drivingSent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  6. As the title above says, just wondering how much MPG everyone else gets as I bought a economical 1.4 56(2007) fiesta Zetec and on my 8-10 mile commute mostly motorway but barely hit traffic I'm averaging 32.4mpg. Just wondering if this is average for the car and year, as I know a few cars that I could have bought but was put off by the 30mpg they could realistically achieve. Do wish I'd bought that ST or VXR now to say the least. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  7. Fiesta Auxiliary(55Plate)

You're looking about £20-40 for parts I just bought one with a male 3.5mm connector on the end and have it in my glovebox. Would recommend a touch of superglue with this method though as mine has come loose and I've lost the release keys Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  8. Strange Humming Noise Mk6.5

Bumped up, anyone? I hear the CV boot is a common ford fault, just really want to know am I ok to drive the car until I can get it fixed at the weekend
  9. As the title says really, last few days every time I've gone over 30mph I get a strange noise coming from under the car. I originally thought it may be a wheel bearing as I thought it was coming from the rear, but I've also been told that a common fault on fords is the CV joint/driveshaft as my stepdad said he could feel it in the passenger footwell earlier. Anyone shed any light on this and is something likely to fall off while driving to work? I also sometimes get the knock when on full lock but not often if that helps (the noise that sounds like the rack has hit the end of its travel)
  10. 2013 1.6 Tdci 1000 Miles In And Egr Issue ??

EGR is in my opinion the most useless thing on a engine, basically uses exhaust gasses to warm up the air going into the engine to help combustion when cold (diesel doesn't ignite on spark but on compression - just being warmer helps this happen quicker). I personally would buy a blanking plate or get one fabricated. Pain in the !Removed!
  11. Fiesta Lx 2005 54) Central Locking

Sounds like it could be anything from a relay or fuse to the complete lock mechanism, (I don't know if the rears have their own fuse but both not working seems most likely) so check the fuses or hunt down a cheap mechanic as the fiesta isn't exactly a rare/hard car to work on
  12. Calling All Fiesta St-2 Owners

It will be a 2014 model year car anyway, I work in JaguarLandRover and we've been doing our 2014MY cars for 2 months now
  13. New Owner, Simple Stock Mods

Also while I'm at it, anyone know if I can buy a flip key blank and get it cut to my key? Mines the old round shaft flat head type as I only have 1 key for the car (I know how to reprogram it to the car)
  14. Calling All Fiesta St-2 Owners

You are more likely to get something knocked off if it's already in stock as dealers want to move it on quickly as possible. Quite a big demand for these though so maybe getting some extra kit thrown in would be your best bet
  15. Fiesta Zetec S Mk 6.5 Mysterious Knock

My mates mk2.5 focus does this every time you full lock when parking etc, he got told by ford it's fine and just the rack coming to the end of how far it can go or something
