  1. No i didnt have to fill any gap behind the buttons. I've just cut the plastic bands using a cutter. Sorry but i dont have any photo of the holes without the buttons placed.
  2. Here we go: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/f7g43nyifsmv7nv/AABGAe1fdFItTpS8Do4xruzba?dl=0 Dan P, you should go for it's working great. I took my time to do it with the help of my father we did it in 2 days. I took the time to let the battery discharge completely to avoid any risk with the airbag.
  3. I've just finished to mount my CC kit from aliexpress on my Focus. And it's working like a charm with my 3 spokes wheel. I will post some pictures soon.
  4. Hey, i took quite some time to decide between the normal CC buttons and the stalk kit. The things that made me choose the normal buttons: 1)The stalk kit is a lot more expansive than the normal kit (37$ vs 70$) 2)I think that the standard buttons around the wheel are more natural and more convenient to use. I dont find it handy to use the standard radio stalk buttons to ajust radio things so i dont even imagine what it would be using it to setup the cruise control (even though i've read that you've get used to it with some time). Moreover i think it's really important to have the best access to CC buttons for security reason, i mean most of the time you will use it on highway and you have to be careful and focus on your driving. 3)About the issue with the style and fashion of the buttons around the wheel with 3 spokes, i mean it's not a big deal to me. I mean do you think it is ugly like this?
  5. only for 4 spokes? What about this one: https://www.drive2.ru/l/4095935/
  6. I've checked and downloaded the guide from PREEE on first page, and it seems a bit hard to do. The following kits are easier to mount or same? I'd like to mount one of those 2 kits: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Capteurs-Parking-Stationnement-Radar-de-Recul-Voiture-Car-Arriere-Sensors-Kit-/121287407868?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_71&hash=item1c3d4af8fc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-Displayer-Car-Rear-Reversing-Reverse-Parking-Audio-Buzzer-4-Sensor-Kit-UK-/291503228245?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43def24555 Which one do you suggest? And what are the differences between them? Which is the easiest to mount on a Ford Focus? Do you know it Is it difficult to mount them on a Ford Focus? I'm not skilled with Car customizing and work. I'm more an electronic and IT guy.
  7. Well my question is just to know if i can add a rear parking sensor on my specific car. My setup: Ford Focus MK2 SPORT version TDCI 2.0 136 YEAR 2007
  8. You were considering? What do you mean, what is your choice? You say that this kit looks ugly on 3 spokes wheel? Why so? Do you have the same 3 spokes sport steering wheel as mine on your TDCI IGOR? And YES, 100% agree that it's more convenient to have the button around the wheel than on the left side with the radio buttons. I'm not sure about which guide or tutorial to follow though. Is there a good one in english or better a complete video tutorial? To mount the cheap Chinese kit from aliexpress.
  9. My first link only for 4 spokes? Then explain me this: https://www.drive2.ru/l/4095935/ So if you disconnect the battery for enough time, it's 100% safe to mess with the airbag? I mean remove it from the wheel.
  10. At 8:16 light at the board? I dont see anything in your video, what do you talk about? EDIT: OK i've seen it! Sorry i've missed it at the first time.
  11. Hello, first my car config: Ford Focus MK2 2.0 Sport style TDCI136 year 2007. Steering wheel with 3 spoke (Sport steering wheel): My GEM number (i got it with Elmconfig): 4M5T-14A073-DJ Is there any danger to activate the airbag by mistake if i remove the car battery?
