  1. Thinking Of Getting An 2010 1.6 Mk2.5

Hi there, I bought my first Focus 2 months ago - 1.6 TDCI Titanium mk2.5. I personally couldn't recommend this car enough! Jake.
  2. The key is the one in the top picture set however the barrel is literally a plastic barrel with a slot to put the key in which I'm guessing shapes to the key and then you can start using the push button. Cheers again!
  3. The trip computer kept telling me the remote battery was low and after I changed it the old battery wouldn't work either. I read online about how to reprogram it and the only guide I could find was when I had to turn the key to position ii four times to put it into learning mode. The model I have has a cap over the ignition barrel but you can't actually turn the key it's just a slot for you put your key into and then use the push button start if your fob isn't working. I presume there is some sort if mechanism inside the barrel that recognises the key. Do you have the push button start system too? Cheers mate.
  4. Hi all, I have a Ford Focus Titanium 2010 (60 Plate) with push button start. Yesterday i changed the battery in my key fob using the instruction in the manual; split in two, change battery, put together and off you go. This didn't work and now my fob won't work. Does anyone know how to programme the key with the push button start version, please? I have found a few guides but only with putting the key in the barrel and turning to position II, however my key won't turn in the barrel? Many thanks guys, Jake.

  6. Ford Focus Titanium 2010 60 Plate Dab Radio

Oh man, it won't let me see that picture, I'll have a look tomorrow and see what's behind there and get back to you! Cheers mate!
  7. Hi all, Just bought a Focus Titanium 2010 with the Sony DAB radio, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if these radios are Bluetooth compatible, please? There is a phone option, a green phone logo and a red phone logo but can't seem to find any Bluetooth?! Thanks guys, Jake.
  8. Brilliant, cheers mate!
  9. Haha I knew I missed one! Cheers mate. Do you know where abouts on this forum I can post or find out about Bluetooth on the sony dab radios? Cheers!
  10. Cheers mate, first turbo diesel car so i'm just getting used to the power etc. First car with some actual luxury too haha! If the light in the boot wasn't enough luxury, I have electric wing mirrors! Heated seats are a bonus in the tropical climes of the North too :)
  11. Hi all, Just getting started on this site. Found it quite useful when buying my new Focus, so hopefully I can get some more information and even give some of my knowledge (not much). Mrs had a Ford KA 1.3 injection Design. Temperature gauge failed (had a reading of -33c) so flooded the engine. This prompted me to look for a new car in the mean time. Came across a Ford Focus 1.6TDCI Titanium (60 plate), fell in love so to speak, bought it! Never driven a car like it to be honest. Also had a look at the same but the 2.0 Automatic but the £30 road tax was more appealing! I'm here for hints and tips on maintenence, performance, perhaps a couple of mods - nothing too extensive and general chat about Ford Focus'! Any help along the way will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Jake.
