  1. Mk & Rear Light Help

Right, I read what Ashman put and decided to have a go, wasnt as difficult as i first thought, a bit tricky trying to undo the wing nut once i had pulled the carpet away a little, but managed to do it and must say, i am very pleased with how it looks. Does anyone know where i can get the 'silver' bulbs to put in the mirrors? Again maybe im being stupid, but i cant seem to find them, are they just a 501 bulb? Thanks for your help Ashman and Stephen :)
  2. Mk & Rear Light Help

  3. Mk & Rear Light Help

Hi guys, I havent been on here for a while so apologies if I have put this topic up and my question has already been answered, I am trying to remove the rear lights on my Mk 7 so that i can de tango the indicators. However i seem to be struggling, i have removed the 3 visible 'screws' or 'bolts' but unless im being really stupid i cant seem to get the light cluster out :( can anyone help please?

  5. First Service- opinions please

thanks for all your replies guys, im still torn between the two. think i might pop down to the dealership then on my way to work, just see how much they quote me for the service :)
  6. First Service- opinions please

oooops. didnt realise i had posted that twice :( thanks for your reply Paul. have you got any ideas what it is that they actually do on the service as i really have not clue. i really am torn between the two, as i said, the mechanic that i know is very good, reasonable on price, he recently serviced and MOT'd my dads focus and was very reasonable. . ahhhh decisions decisions
  7. First Service- opinions please

lol. i think i might just pay whatever thehigher price is and get it done by the dealers, any ideas what they actually do on the first service? Im not the best with cars, just get in them and drive, any problems i get my dad to sort them :) . . think i have been persuaded to use the dealership though, just because i can get Nectar points :D Thanks Michelle

  9. Hi guys, my car will be needing its first service pretty soon, im just wondering should i go to the mechanics that i used to use for my old car (they are very reasonable, will stamp the service book etc) or should i pay the extra and get it done by the dealership? Just wondering what 'more' the dealership does to warrant paying so much extra. any opinions would be appreciated :)
  10. Fiesta Meet

im one of the south east lot, so the mini meet first and then travelling in convoy sounds pretty good. . so include me in both, will try and get my mate to come too!
  11. Fiesta Meet

Sweet, i will make sure that i book the sunday and the monday off work then so i know i havent gotta worry about what time i leave to get home :)
  12. Fiesta Meet

So guys. . we are looking at it being Fosse Park on Sunday 26th July at around 5pm ish? I hope that it does goe ahead, im looking forward to it, will be the first long drive that i would have done in my Fiesta, and will be good to meet everybody and see eachothers cars :)
  13. Fiesta Meet

Just put that postcode on the AA route planner and its around an hour and a half for me. Im up for giving my car a bit of a run so keep me updated with the possible dates, reckon my mate would probably be interested in coming along too as long as he is off work on the date B)
  14. Another Personal Plate Question

Dan- yes i was still able to drive the car because i had sent the retention form off to be changed over. as far as im aware there should be no reason for your car to be off of the road at all when putting personalised plates onto your car. And Michelle i had exactly the same problem when i transfered the plates from my original Fiesta to the Clio that i have just traded in, glad that its all sorted now though, will try and put a pic up when this weather brightens up and i get a chance to clean my car. . see what people think of my plate :)
